Summary: honestly this has to be the most realistic wrc rally game ever, the creaters of this game really knew what they were doing, every country on this game really feels like your their, rallys are tough and stages are tiring, just as a real rally driver! this game even has night stages it got 9/10 and i can see why now!
Summary: I must say, I had this game a long time ago but I sell this one a big mistake! This is realy is a nice game, I love the WRC games from Evolutions studio! Gameplay and overal is better than the new WRC games ( Blackbean ).
Summary: Having played and really enjoyed the first World Rally Championship game on the PS2 I was looking forward to WRC II Extreme. Unfortunately I think the games developers have tweaked the original successful formula a bit too much and inadvertently removed a lot of the fun that was to be had. As mentioned in the review by "A Customer", the slightest contact with the crash barrier rather bizarrely sees your car spin around 180 degrees more often than not.
Summary: Nearly everything about this is great apart from one thing, even the slightest collision with a roadside object will fling the back of the car round like the tyres are made of greased eels or something, obviously it's best not to hit anything, but when you're on a good run and a minor scuff with the railings sees you practically do a 180 and either have to reset/restart or waste precious time doing a 3 point turn it's a little galling, night time races are at a minimum...
Summary: I really enjoyed this game. I thought the Graphics were very good, landscaping and sound effects were excellent. I particulary enjoyed the Time Trials sections. I would agree with othere reviewers in that the car will turn completely around if you even graze the side fencing. Having said that you will get a good few hours entertainment from this game.
Summary: This is the best driving game ever. You'll be wanting this. If you say it's rubbish then you are an idiot. The graphics are very very good. you get bonus extreme cars which have power up to 700bhp and top speeds of over 200MPH. And when you unlock them. you'll love them! Still only got the demo because my dad said:You're not buying it! However. I may lock him in the bathroom and purchase anything I want. for example. this game!
Summary: The original WRC was a fine rally game, very fine indeed. WRC II is a fine rally game, very fine indeed. Even finer. Graphics have improved and so has the sound [although the clattering and banging of the car can get a bit annoying after a while], the addition of buildings is a nice touch. Handling is a bit more difficult but adds to the feel of the game making the game sit somewhere between sim and arcade. Quick race selects driver, car and stage for a quick blast.
Summary: WRC 2 Extreme is the best!!! You must buy it if you're a rally fan! (only played the demo at the moment) The graphics are much better than Formula One 2004. even better than WRC 3 too! I am not going to buy Formula One 2004. but bought the 2002 game because i played a demo of it and really enjoyed it. If i were to buy this game if i had Formula One 2004. I will swap F1 2004 for WRC 2. Go on. swap Formula One 2004 for World Rally Championship II Extreme.
Summary: I must say i disagree or at least, cannot understand the views of others towards this particular game. Realistic maybe, the game has a very low playability, with completion being possible within about a day. The number of courses may impress however they are all pretty similar. The game also contains a number of annoying qualities, one being the immediate tendency for the car to swing around to face the wrong direction every time you slightly graze the outer barriers of...
