Excerpt: It isn’t very often that you get to review a game that stands alone as the only title of its kind available for a platform, but this is something that is true of Codemasters’ World Championship Snooker 2003 (if you discount the prequel, that is.
Conclusion: All in all, a worthy update of the best simulation of the great game - but it's unlikely to appeal to anyone other than snooker loopy nuts (like us), and needed more polish (and we're not talking about the nice shiny balls and trophies).
Pros: Perfect ball physics totally convince., The game allows you to play like a pro and make big breaks., 28 of the World's top players., You can play 8-ball and 9-ball pool too!
Cons: Disappointing player models and animation., Some issues with the control method and aiming., We wanted this game in April,, July.
