The naked truth about Wipeout Fusion

Tom Carruthers, Amazon
8 July 2004
  • Summary: Unfortunately I am one of those Wipeout `fans' who have played and completed all of the various incarnations. Only very recently did I get my hands on a PS2 and a copy of wipeout fusion.

Slightly above average racer

Charles S. Allen Jr., Amazon
17 July 2003
  • Summary: This game is pretty decent. It starts off slow but as you upgrade the ships the game speed picks up. Each ship from the different teams acts and reacts differently to certain situations so you will have to adjust.

sigh, what a shame...

Bob Manson, Amazon
2 July 2002
  • Summary: There have been so many PS/2 games that weren't quite what they should've been. I don't care so much about light sourcing or smoke effects in the games I play; I want games that are well-polished and fun to play. Too many PS/2 games are relying on good graphics to carry the day.

One step forward, Two steps back

Alun Thomas, amazon.co.uk
26 April 2005
  • Summary: Being a bigtime officionado of Wipeout 3 special edition, I waited with bated breath for the release of 'Fusion'. It came - I bought - I played - and I was sorely disappointed! Certainly there are some quite amazing graphics, music etc. but it just lacked that wipeout feel.

Shame..

David Godfrey, amazon.co.uk
9 April 2002
  • Summary: The graphics are great as well as the game speed, but everybody expected that anyway . BUT I found the leagues far too easy (I mean winning as soon as I turned it on for the first time). I would have prefered it if they elaborated on the old format really but we cant have everything.
