Summary: I wasted some weekends on this game in my youth so I purchased it for nostalgic value. It's fun to roam around as a classic movie monster and to destroy buildings and cities. The area is cut off and you're limited to a pretty small region, but it's still entertaining, especially for a ps2 game. The multiplayer is fun too and I thoroughly enjoyed getting together with friends to relive our glory days.
Summary: when i got it it was in perfect shape....the game works great! but when i opened the case the disk wasnt properly inside the case and was rattling around inside...other then that the game works perfectly... if u love hard-core Melee fighting game...or have a craving to destroy some military.....or want to beat the holy living s*** out of monkeys and Praying mantis's..
Summary: When I recieved the game it was in mint condition and even had the manual and poster. The disk was almost flawless and I am not disappointed at all. The game itself is very fun and I used to play it all the time and I'm happy I can finally be reunited with it.
Summary: So I got this today which is August 1, 2012 and I got to say this game is quite good. Now then, let's start off with the controls; the controls are a bit wonky at first but I am certain that once you get used to it then it becomes decent HOWEVER, I can't say the same for the camera controls.
Summary: The game has around 12 different monsters each with different attacks and combos, the multiplayer is the best part of the game, the graphics are pretty good and the monsters are cool. The only thing i would change is the story mode, it can be frustrating and all the same.
Summary: War of the Monsters is an excellent game! I love playing it by myself, and with a few friends! Adventure mode is awesome, but short. But it will take hours and maybe even a day to do adventure mode with every monster. Multiplayer is a great fit for this game. You're running around pounding the other monsters competing for the most wins! But sadly you can't do adventure mode with multiplayer. That is one thing that bummed me, but I love the game anyway.
Summary: great multiplayer action, the controls take a little getting used to (I recommend switching to a different preset than the default, I think it's the second one that's good, I can't remember) but it's a good brawling game. Play it with your step-dad and bond. He wants you to like him!
Great Party Game - Miserable Single Player experience

Summary: This game has a great overall concept and characters and is a total blast to play with a group of friends or in a party setting. Single player, on the other hand, is frustratingly difficult. The AI for single player is unbelievably fast, strong and deadly accurate with thrown objects. Even on the EASY setting you'll be ready to chuck the controller at your tube in frustration.
Undoubtedly, the best monster fighting simulation ever

Summary: This game just kind of came and went without much notice, but it is exceptional in nearly every sense. The game play is fast and fun, easy to pick up, difficult to master. The monsters are all cool variations on creatures of the classic sci-fi films. And the graphics and sound are amazing. What I love most about this game is the incredible attention to detail. The environments are huge, especially Metro City.
Summary: This is a really cool game, i borrowed it from a friend and played it for 2 hours with him! it IS SO FUN! in 2 player mode anyways. In the single player mode is WAY TO DIFFICULT, i tohught i could handle the medium mode, but it killed me within 2 minutes, so i tried easy, i killed him, once! If you have any body to play with, or having a party, i would reccomend the eytoy, and this game, for the best game party EVER! SO FUN!
