Summary: Capcom and SNK made many games with each other during the PS2 era. While the SNK crafted games are still to this day recognized as fairly competent fighters, the Capcom offerings were often rushed and slapped together. While this game is fun, it obviously has little love put into it. Many sprites are reused from other games, causing size and resolution issues and making everything seem like a amateur MUGEN mod.
Summary: I got this game last month, and It's off the chain! 1st off, you have the grooves. The CAPCOM grooves are reminiscent of the Street Fighter Alpha/Street Fighter III series, while the SNK grooves are reminiscent of the King of Fighters Series. You can mix and match any of the 6 grooves with an of the fighters in this game. Speaking of fighters, the selection in this game is huge!
Summary: I really love this game! It's in my top 5 of all time. I played it in the arcade heavy and on my dreamcast which is now broken. When i saw it was available for PS2 i got it so i can beat all my friends asses in it when they come over!
Summary: ...just how much I love this game. I play SF3 1-3, MVC1-3, SFxT, MK1-9, SVC: Chaos, Darkstalkers, Tekken, Virtua Fighter, Rival Schools, yadda yadda yadda... I play many of the fighters out there, and regularly, and I play to the extent of being pretty decent at all of them. CVS2 is one of the few games that I've played to the extent of ruining my summer vacations for 2 years in a row. On the PS2, this game is near-godly.
