Summary: This game was such a treasure to find with it's phenomonal music and graphics, engrossing gameplay, twisted plot, and the variety of characters possible to play. If anything, it has some of the best show of PS2 graphics I have seen-something to expect from a Square-Enix production. The wind moving through the environments, the water trickling, the sort-of dream-like haze in the towns. It all culminates into an eye-pleaser if nothing else.
Summary: I first fell in love with the ps1 original Valkyrie profile, but when my parents were down on there luck they sold it because English versions are hard to come by, so when I heard they were coming out with a second one I was thrilled. I played the game and loved it but for one reason or another I never got to finish it, so I've been trying to find a copy of this game for quite awhile!
Summary: I have played Valkyrie 2 before and it was a lot of fun so I decided to buy it myself. The cutscenes are my favorite because of the beautiful graphic and also the gameplay itself is strong in that point. There are several main characters that you keep playing, and the so called einherjar, spirits that you'll find in weapons along your way, who (if you want to) can join your party and be helpful until a certain lvl, but even beyond the "Free LvL"(which means you've made...
Summary: If you like nordic culture and legends, this is your game. A great RPG with good innovations in game-play and in it's battle system, very nice characters' visuals, very stylish and with good game duration for a RPG. All this things plus an extraordinary and beautiful soundtrack that shows perfectly the situations in the battle and story and the brings good emotions to the player.
Summary: excellent game, wonderful character design, awesome gameplay, the battle system its really good, specially when you crush to pieces your already dead enemys!!, the grapichs are ok but could have been better, still awesome video scenes, sounds and voices.Multiple characters to choose from and a skill system to customize them as you like.
Summary: I've played Valkyrie Profile (PSX / VP 1 / VP Lenneth) and witness it's best storyline, so I decided to play the sequel : Valkyrie Profile 2 (Silmeria). And as predicted, it's also provide me a shocking storyline as well. It's amazing how they (Tri Ace) create such a great and brilliant storyline. Connected with VP1 storyline, VP2 also have a deep feeling about love story.
Summary: With the coming advent of the latest Valkyrie Profile game for DS, and as an owner of Valkyrie Profile for the Playstation, I felt hard-pressed to fill in the missing chunks of storyline that I had yet to explore in Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria. Surprisingly, it's become rather difficult to locate a complete set of the game. I feel the strongest part of the game is the battle system. It isn't just turn-based. It's not just scrolling through commands.
Summary: This Game Was Pretty Good When I First Read The Battle System I Didn't Think I Would Like The Game. But Man After The First Fight I Got Hooked! The Plot Is Pretty Good As Well And The Graphics Excellent As Expected Of Square Enix. The Fighting System Reminds Me Of A Mixture Final Fantasy XII And Xenosaga II. You Can Run Around In Battles And You Can Break parts Of Enemies So you Can Get Certain Items Off Of Which Part Of The Enemy You Want To Break.
Summary: This is a fantastic prequel to the first Valkyrie game. I've put 40+ hours and counting on this so far, which is not usually like me. I am not a die-hard gamer that spends all their free time on the PS2, but this has certainly got me hooked. Great game and great story.
Summary: Awesome soundtrack, engaging story, beautiful environment, exciting battle system. This game has it all. I'm playing the original right now, and I have to say I've been spoiled by "Silmeria" because it raises the bar. Motoi Sakuraba puts together a breath-taking and original soundtrack for this game. Towns and stages are full of detailed scenery.
