Summary: I don't care much for first person shooters but when I had the Sega Dreamcast, I did like Unreal Tournament. It was the only game of its type that I played very often. Now that the Dreamcast has been put in storage and I have a PS2 hooked up to my TV, I decided to get the PS2 version of UT. My memory of this game proved to be correct; it is a very fun one player game, especially in the Death Match mode against the computer opponents.
Summary: I have Just recently been able to play this again because of the PS2 problem with playing blue backed discs after a while. When the new PS2 price of 129.99 hit I bought a new one and it was worth every penny just to be able to play some of the great early FPS' like this and Timesplitters.
Summary: When id announced that Quake 3 was going to be "multiplayer only" I thought to myself, "Well, there's =one= FPS I'm not getting." I don't multiplay much at all, and almost never on-line. (And to be honest, since Duke Nukem 3D introduced the whole looking-up-and-down element to FPSes, I'd found more frustration in playing them than fun.) When Quake 3 came out, I downloaded the demo, along with Epic's contender Unreal Tournament.
Summary: This game is a great game. for one if your parents dont like games with gore you can reduce the gore. its also nice that you can choose your skill level and for each tournament there is a tutorial to tech you how to play the game. Also if your looking for a fun game for two or more friends this is the one to go with. in multiplayer mode you can choose to eather go and play with them or be enemies and battle it out and have loads of fun.
Summary: i like this game becuase it has lots of 3d effects in it if i could i would rate it 100% becuase it have lots of guns and more gore i hope the next unreal is alote better than this one thanks!
Summary: This game is absolutely wonderful. It is quite addicting. The bots in the game really give it an atmosphere of teamwork and deathmatch is hardcore. The Hall of Champions screen alone is worth getting to the end of the game for. It takes about five minutes to get used to the controls but there are different control options you can choose to suit your control style. Get this game, you cannot go wrong!
