Summary: This is my favorite fighting game I have played. It combines striking with wrestling, letting you beat an opponent if you are skilled enough, even when you are about to get knocked out. Every fighter has his own patented moves and style, adding to the diversity of the game. My friends and I never get tired of the bone crunching hits and submissions. Unlocking new moves and fighters keeps things interesting while playing solo.
Summary: This is a fantastic game for UFC and MMA fans in general. You can do your own version of some of the great UFC battles of all time, like the incredible Frank Shamrock vs. Tito Ortiz fight or Jens Pulver vs. BJ Penn, or have some fantasy matchups you wish you could have seen, like Vitor Belfort vs Ortiz or Shamrock. My only complaint is that knockouts can come a little fast if you are playing the computer, or if two beginners are playing.
Summary: Yes, you can win with one submission, but that's relaistic. Sheesh. Go play a pro wrestling game if you want to put a submission hold on a guy 50 times to win. It only takes once in real life, unlike the soap opera mistakenly referred to as sports entertainment. Great graphics, incredibly realistic fighting, real life fighters, and the all representing the greatest sport ever! Buy this game.
Bone crunching, spine splitting, hardcore action...

Summary: This game has got it all! Arm bars, leg locks, sleeper holds, it even has the famous achillies tendon hold! When i first started to play, the graffics astounded me right off the bat! Then, after a few days of game time, I couldn't put the controler down! I was even late to work on several occasions because of this game being SO addictive! My recommendation, you better have strong willpower to pull yourself away!
Summary: To start off I think this is a great fighting game period. This is to say I like it far better than virtua fighter 4(the only other fighting game I have for PS2). Its shocking how in depth the fighting system is for all the UFC fighters and for the eight or so different kinds of career fighters you can create(you can very the martial art between levels making the possibilities endless.
Summary: I think this game is great for any UFC or MMA fan. For those who want a fighting game like Tekken or DOA you might be disapointed. This is a reality based fighting game. That means realistic moves and combos. No power ups or weapons. I found that the most fun is playing against other UFC fans. They have a lot of current and legendary UFC fighters but I just have one question about the game. WHERE'S RANDY CONTURE? I don't see how the could have made this game without him.
Summary: Being a huge fan of PRIDE and various other MMA shoot promotions, I was really looking forward to this game. I am not lying when I say that just after 10 seconds of playing this game, it became my favorite game of all time. This is simply the most accurate and realistic fighting game ever. You don't have to learn all these crazy button combos like in other fighting games.
