Partly a dino game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7 January 2003
Summary: This game has some of the best graphics of any PS2 game that I've ever played. The flying levels were pretty hard (except the beginning). This review sure has a silly name... there ARE plenty of dinosaurs except on chapter 5 and the above-a-canyon city (actually, there's a rocket launcher-backed...
Summary: The turok series has certainly evolved since my last experience with turok on N64 lol. For evolution It's still fun to run through the similar jungle and rainforest covered levels with a decent selection of weapons killing what now appear to be some sort of humanoid reptilians lol.
Summary: The game is definitely from a different, more arcadey kind of era. It's still a great game that I played a lot as a child and replaying it is definitely fun for me. I'd say this game is one of the top PS2 games I've ever played.
Summary: I too cannot believe the poor ratings of this game. Yes, it is better than Medal of Honor (MOH) because of 3 reasons. (1) The weapons: the various types of attack are many ---> mini-gun, flame thrower, Tek bow, quad-barrel shot gun, anti-gravity gun, anto-matter cube, spider mine, axe, many more to...
Summary: I bought 2 First Person Shooters back in December 2002 for the first time FPS play: Turok and Medal of Honor- Frontline (MoH). I could not play them simultaneously because the controls are different. I played Turok first and beat it in about 30 days. Then I played MoH and beat it in about 30 days.
Summary: This game is an excellent two player game! Going head to head against your friends is a lot of fun. Playing the game part of it is good, but not great. I have played a lot of worse games, this one is worth buying. Especially if you play with your friends a lot.
Summary: There is just one problem with the game:STORY! There is absolutly no story to this game! All you do is run and shoot and then win the level. But for people who love first-person shooters and lots of gore![really!
Summary: I remember the Turok series from a long time ago. It was a pretty good game back then. Now, we have Turok on the Playstation 2. I think it's a good game overall. Hunting dinosaurs never really gets boring, in my opinion. Just something fun about watching those big creatures fall to the ground.
Summary: Turok Evolution is the perfect game for a five-night rental. While it is far from the best the first-person shooter genre has to offer, it kept me coming back for more over the course of the five days I had it. The control is much improved over the old Nintendo 64 versions.
