Summary: There is just one problem with the game:STORY! There is absolutly no story to this game! All you do is run and shoot and then win the level. But for people who love first-person shooters and lots of gore![really! the game is rated M for a reason,if you shoot at an enemy and hit either their arm, leg,or head, it will burst off and blood will spray everywhere, and there lis lots of blood!] Multiplayer is really cool.
Partly a dino game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: This game has some of the best graphics of any PS2 game that I've ever played. The flying levels were pretty hard (except the beginning). This review sure has a silly name... there ARE plenty of dinosaurs except on chapter 5 and the above-a-canyon city (actually, there's a rocket launcher-backed Ankylosaurus and a Styracosaurus, but that's it). If you ever hear a rumbling sound, look out below! What I mean is, a loud noise that sounds like crashing rocks may fall on you.
Summary: I know I'm 8 years old and have an M game but my mom lets me.This game is the best!I like two-player so I can use the poison arrows to shoot my brother's guy's head off and make him puke at the same time.It is violent, bloody, and gory but cartoonish so you can let your kids play.In story mode[game mode or one-player] the game is cool! You are Tal'Set and have to avenge your people by killing captain Bruckner and his army of reptiles.I gotta kick some sleg butt!
Summary: Its a good game, dont get me wrong but, i prefer the old turok 2 for N64, more weapons ans long lasting 7 levels for turok 2. TE is good with its missions but its too quick, loads of gore, and blood. LOVE THE SNIPING from the tech-bow and sniper! on TE, you see all these shotgun bullets and you dont get the shotgun until the next level! I bought the game, it was good, but since its soooooo many levels you get bored quickly, multiplayer is great!
Summary: Turok Evolution is the perfect game for a five-night rental. While it is far from the best the first-person shooter genre has to offer, it kept me coming back for more over the course of the five days I had it. The control is much improved over the old Nintendo 64 versions. The setup makes sense, and the aiming is no longer overly responsive, and is far less frustrating.
Summary: I too cannot believe the poor ratings of this game. Yes, it is better than Medal of Honor (MOH) because of 3 reasons. (1) The weapons: the various types of attack are many ---> mini-gun, flame thrower, Tek bow, quad-barrel shot gun, anti-gravity gun, anto-matter cube, spider mine, axe, many more to list. I have run out of ammo in MOH, and you cannot do anything but die. That is, you cannot use a battle axe and keep fighting like in Turok...
Summary: I bought 2 First Person Shooters back in December 2002 for the first time FPS play: Turok and Medal of Honor- Frontline (MoH). I could not play them simultaneously because the controls are different. I played Turok first and beat it in about 30 days. Then I played MoH and beat it in about 30 days. The result is I am selling MoH and keeping Turok to play it through once or twice more.
Summary: I'm not too big of an FPS fan I admit it. I bought Kingdom Hearts and sold it back within a weeks time to trade for this game because the guys said it was great. Wow, were they totally correct. This game is amazing. The lush jungle is amazing. I have not finished the game, but am on Chapter 5. The first few levels start out easy and the AI is pretty forgiving. However, I am now at a point where the enemies are definitely tougher and UNFORGIVING.
Summary: The original will probably forever be THE best Turok of them all, but to me this one is second. Many will argue that part 2 is better, but I disagree. Part two lacked one major component that added true wonder to the original Turok game... Dinosaurs. There were only the occasional and generic raptors in Turok 2. Evolution is flooded with dinosaurs.
