Summary: Yes!!!!!!!!!!! This is what I was after! The first TR I ever played was TR3 - the first instalment with water ripples, the ability to shimmy around corners, and the improved menu interface. The sound, the looks, the puzzles, the moves - all were great. The downside was you had to find hidden save crystals to save progress and they were few and far between. The result was that if you died you could find yourself repeating much of the level again. That ruined the game.
A worthy remake of the game that introduced Lara Croft.

Summary: The original Tomb Raider was a great game in itself, with plenty to do despite the limitations of the engine, but Anniversary takes that much-loved game and makes it better, remaking the environemnts in full 3D glory and improving the original's puzzles. Lara has new moves and some of the cutscenes are interactive, requiring quick thinking so that she doesn't get killed.
Summary: I always loved the Tomb raider games. My daughter got a new Xbox for xmas so I took the old ps2 (still running like new). My Dad bought it for her before he died so working or not it stays with us. I found some of the old games Daddy bought her and ordered a few I wanted to play. I really like the Tomb Raider Anniversary. Just started playing it so I am still trying to get into the building lol but it's fantastic.
Summary: If you are a fan of Lara Croft, this is a Musthave! I have played every TRgame since the first one on PS1. This is a remake of the first Tomb Raider, but it is still a whole new game . The story makes a lot more sense in this one , and it is beautifully made, with lovely surprises even for the most seasoned gamer.
Summary: If you liked the original Tomb Raider you'll love this - It really took me back - I love the story which is far more detailed and in depth than the original but still keeps true to the style - My nephew also loves this - Killing the dinosaur was the highlight of his afternoon on level two !! A brilliant game you can come back to over and over. Love it.
Summary: I have always loved the Tomb Raider games, and am very familiar with Tomb Raider for the PS1 (The game this is the remake/remastery for). It is closely adapted to the original, but with enough difference to keep it diverse and enjoyable. I have also played the HD version which has been released for PS3, and is included in the Tomb Raider Trilogy, which is amazing. The puzzles differ from the original PS1 version, which is good.
Summary: I love the challenges and the cinematics, and the characters have been very well thought up. The only problem is it's slightly depressing because she's completely on her own and sometimes in very dark places with an eerie atmosphere. I'm sure that this is just me, because the first game I played was Legend, in which she constantly has conversations with Zip and Alistair via handset, so I became accustomed to that.
