Summary: When I got this game, I thought it would be just like the xbox version. This game is the prequel to the xbox version and gives the player little freedom. The Ghost AI was terrible and you die easily. When you die, you must start the mission all over again. On the bright side, this is a Tom Clancy game, so the sound and graphics are great, the story line is great, the game's relates to Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, and it is realistic shooter game.
Summary: Kudos to this game for trying, but my god, it fell short. "Ghost Recon 2" takes a radical departure from its predecessor, reworking from the ground up except for the title in an attempt to bridge the gap between Tom Clancy tactical and Halo shoot-em-up. It ends up disappointing both groups - fans of "Ghost Recon" will be appalled at the dumbing-down their franchise, but there's nowhere near enough bad guys to sate the fans of endless bullet spraying.
Summary: The game is entertaining, but lacks a lot. Mostly check points. It is very frustrating to get the end of the level just to have to start all the way over. Graphics are ok. You just have to give the game a chance and get used to it.
Summary: Now, I gotta say, this is the first Ghost Recon I've ever played. So it's hard for me to compare it to the rest of the series (except I've seen Advanced Warfighter, and I was not impressed). I had a fun time playing the game the first time around, but the re-play factor is not so great. I like the realistic approach to the weapons and tactics of war as displayed by this game.
Summary: What I have to say has been said in a previous review, but I will say it anyway: Part 2 has been changed to a single-team scenario so that, e.g., only your own team can be used in a support position, leaving you to run off on your own. The open terrain of the original and ``jungle storm" (ghost recon 1.1) has been replaced with a restricted path (with rare exception) along which you must travel.
Summary: I thought this game was pretty good. They improved the Graphics, and made the AI and Sound Better. But that 3rd person view was annoying. There were times when i tried to make a shot but my Character's head kept blocking my veiw, so then when i moved around to get my head out of the way I got shot, or killed. Your squad was very bad, They couldnt hit a barn if they were standing next to it.
