Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Lockdown Review

21 September 2005
  • Excerpt: Rainbow Six 3 on the Xbox gave me some of the most fun I've had on Xbox Live. I got together with a few buddies and we played through the game in co-op and competitively against a few other small teams. It was a real laugh, helped by my inability to open doors properly and a tendency to get shot in the back of the head by my ever more immature growing team-mates.

Rainbow Six: Lockdown

15 September 2005
  • Conclusion: This is a big step back for the franchise, and one that used to pride itself on realism and pacing. Again, it's not a bad game, it's just a bad Rainbow Six game.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Lockdown Review

1 August 2005
  • Excerpt: Rainbow Six: Lockdown is the sequel to last year's excellent Rainbow Six 3, which won our 2004 Mobie award for best strategy game. Lockdown reprises its predecessor's basic gameplay, adding larger maps, different types of strategic encounters, and one broken helicopter level. Despite some general slowdown issues, and some enemy encounters that are uncharacteristically poorly designed, Lockdown is a good update to an excellent game. Here, you'll have to save Loiselle.
  • Pros: Larger environments, more enemies, Strategic gameplay that borders on puzzling
  • Cons: Not a huge departure from last year's game, Slowdown is bad in places, Helicopter level is broken

Tom Clancy´s Rainbow Six Lockdown - Review (PS2)

18 October 2005
