Summary: There are tons option to choose in engine. As well as what kind of engine you want. What set of tire you put, matters too. Another if you going to put weight down or reforce the car. As well as FF, FR, MR, 4WD cars.
Summary: If you love crave games, you will love Tokyo Xtreme Drift 2. It's better than the first one and way funner. Challange could get hard, but reality is you gotta be good to win. Graphics are very nice, any season and you'll see that the raods are just real looking. The music is kinda corny, but if measured by the car sounds, they're as close as you can get to realistic. Car customizing goes as just 2 body kits, rally, or aero.
Summary: ported and uprated slightly from the dreamcast game of similar storyline & game play it works perfect on this platform, steady frame rates and no faults or gltiches noticed. Very niche game but excellent all the same... aged well other then the graphics... if you like arcade racers made in a slightly race RPG style you'll love this. if you only play need for speed and profess to know everything about racing games avoid like the plague.
Summary: The detail on the cars is simply stunning, from the light reflections to the different aerodynamic features, simply amazing. The varied gameplay along with 400 opponents to beat makes this game a great buy. I'd recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of the racing genre!
Summary: Its a good game as the graphics are amazing for when it came out. the bad thing is there are not lots of different things you can do to it like NFS:U2 and the handelling is not too godd but it is still a fun game to play. cheap n cheerful, and not to hard too.
Summary: In a quick summary, the handling is not realistic in other words it is more arcade than simulation, but the game starts you with ten grand to buy and mod a car. You drive around real mapped tokyo highways and race LOTS of illegal street race gangs and individuals, the only shame about this game is that it would work extremely well online but the offline version is very good. As you beat your opponents you unlock upgrades for your car and other cars to mod.
Summary: Its different to most racers. You race againest people by flashing your headlights at them. This starts the race where you both attempt to out race the other in order to cause their energy to go down. Also crahses cause chunks of energy to go down so skill full driving is rewarded. It uses the formular of buying a car, racing for money, to upgrade your car, to race faster people for money etc. This would get boring if it wasn't for the track.
Summary: Tokyo Extreme Racing is one of the best looking PS2 Racing games. There is a good variety of cars, and they all have nice details and their own characteristics. The goal of the game is to race other drivers, and try to earn money, so that you can eventually buy better and faster cars. The game is more like a simulation than a arcade racer. A game worth picking up for all racing fans, though the controls can be difficult to handle for beginners.
