Summary: Don't listen to people who dosnt know what they are saying. I own 17 TW games. I should know what I am talking about! Pros- Awesome intro to legend tour hilarious golfers caracters talk to the ball (SIT! BITE! GO! ect.
Summary: Tiger 2006 is a fun game. Love the rivals mode, love all the old timey clubs and outfits, love the courses. But there are 2 things that stink. One, there are some "impossible" pin locations that are cut on rediculous slopes, where if you miss the hole by even an inch the ball rolls off the green 99%...
Summary: This is the first Tiger woods game I have bought. When I looked the game up to see the reviews on it after I bought it I was shocked at the low score it had. I think the game is awesome!! I was looking for a game that was fun but also realistic. This is both.
Summary: I've read the upheaval from other reviewers, and I'm here to say that I actually really like this game. After seeing some friends playing '05 at school, I decided to try out '06. If you've never played any other Tiger Woods games, then all the negative comments by other people don't apply to you.
Summary: I love the Tiger Woods series. Previously I played them all on the Xbox and this time I switched to the PS2. The swing being on the left only is stupid, they should allow you to flip between the right side and the left.
Summary: If you are a fan of the previous TW games, this is still a fun game and has even improved in capturing the "feel" of the game. The new controls are well done and the putting is more difficult, but more realistic. I have to agree though that graphically it is not nearly as crisp as 2004 or 2005.
'06 is a great game, but does not have the impact on me that '05 had...

Summary: Tiger Woods still leads the pack in golfing SIMS for PS2 and XBox. Still a great game, lots of fun, decent graphics, and more importantly - still a challenge. I've given the previous two years 5-star reviews... and this '06 is close at 4.5 stars.
Summary: My only real problem with this game is the near-impossibility of figuring out how to raise the level of expertise of my golfer. I have 4 Tiger Woods games, for PS2, now, including 2005 where you just make money and buy expertise. Simple. I just don't get it with 2006.
