Summary: This game offers a lot of positive things, but also has some NOTICEABLE downfalls. The good thing is the graphics, which are very nice and sharp. Also, the ability you have to ride any ride, rollercoaster, and you can play all the games. I like the personalization it offers. I can put things where I want, but I can't always build every attraction because each section of the theme park has a limited power level, reducing the number of rides you can put in each section.
Summary: Purchase this for my Grandson for his 7th Birthday. What a fun a Creative Game it turned out to be! I've played it with him several times and have enjoyed it also. Not difficult and really allows you to be creative which my Grandson loves. I purchase this game with "FIdeos" through Amazon which is another great Company to do Business with! We couldn't find this Game in stock any where in our area and Grandson was ansious to get it for his Birthday...
Summary: THrillville is alright!! You have to really sit there and understand what you have to do...and really? building rides is just a matter of "chosing" pix of some and placing them in a spot. We must have popped this game in 2x and moved on !
Summary: I bought this game initially for the multiplayer carnival games, but quickly got sucked into the non-stop fun of the entire game. It is very easy to spend HOURS playing this game. This is lots of fun if you're having a videogame party - you can challenge your friends to a match on the trampolines, bumper-cars, go-kart racing, etc. There are TONS of games to play, lots of things to build - it's hard to stop playing!
Summary: My 7 yr old son loves this game. He does not want to put the controller down ! He says you get to design the park and choose what you want in it and thats why he likes it so much. He also loves riding the roller coasters. My 9 yr old daughter who doesn't usually play video games, also loves it !
Summary: I don't get obsessed with video games normally, but I just couldn't put this one down. You have the job of runnign every aspect of the amusement parks, from product and ride placement to flirting with the customers. You even get to build rollercoaster and water rides. It's awesome. If you haven't had a chance to play this one, definately check it out.
Summary: It's great that you have total control, mostly. If you like games where there is no boundaries, or stuck to a set plan, this is for you. You do what you want, when you want, however you want. Only downside, wish there was a little more variety in the rides.
By far the best rollercoster game out there todate.

Summary: "Many theme park games have came out in the past years, but none of them have been up to par (In my opinion...) with the "Roller Coaster Tycoon" series" Like the person before me said.... I was very worried that when I got this game it would not live up to what I thought about the tycoon game... but O-M-G!! it's the best! Fun for ALL ages!! and the sound track in this game is out of this world!!
Summary: The concept of this game is "Be creative and your park will get money". That is not the way this game works at all! You can only build up to 6 rollercoasters in each park, and each of the parks terrains are pre-designed! You have to build the rides in designated ride areas! Plus you've got this thing called a "Thrill Meter" that limits the size of the rides and amount of them that you can build.
