Conclusion: Overall its a good game. I like the features like robbing car stereos and tagging, even though at times iy can get frustrating. On one player i didnt find it as good as what it was on 2 player. Some good battles on the game but too short to buy definatley better to rent.
Summary: I played through most of this with my flatmate on co-op mode. However, I grew a bit tired of the basic mechanics and the camera drove me mad, so I ended up just watching my flatmate play through the rest. I did really enjoy the game and its fun to beat the crap out of everyone but the gameplay becomes a bit repetitive, making certain gameplay elements seem like tasks after a while.
Summary: The Warriors is a beat em up developed by Rockstar games for the Playstation 2. The story follows a gang called the Warriors, the game follows the plot of the move where all the gangs in New York meet up to discuss how to take over the city. Cyrus who is giving a speech gets shot and the Warriors are blamed for it and must escape! The game is told in flashbacks which fills you in on some of the details of the characters and is generally very interesting.
Pros: Good plot, fun beat em up, brutal, entertaining minigames
Summary: Back in 1989 there was a movie called The Warriors, basically it was gang movie where different gangs would kill each other in order to run the neighbourhood. The movie is actually really good although watching it now does kind of make me feel old! The game of the warriors is actually very like the movie, It's essentially a beat em up and can feel a bit like a 3D version of Streets of Rage, and that isn't a bad thing at all.
Summary: Although I did not watch the movie of 'The Warriors',I loved the game! The gameplay, the sound, the graphics, all was so awesome!I liked most of the gang's costume designs, gang names and gang's warchief, especially 'The Warriors'.Although I LOVED this game but one point was dissapointing for me.I expected more action and fights from Mission 15,16,17 and 18 (Especially for Mission 17 when 'The Lizzies' invited 'The Warriors' to their hideout,i expected more flirting, sex and...
Summary: Great fun beatem' up that sticks true to the films plot. You really get to know the characters in this smash and grab game. Graphics are just average compared to the likes of God of War 2 which was released not too long after but it's great fun and I'm sure it's pretty cheap now!
Summary: Introduction: I recieved this game as a birthday gift in 2005, It is based on Walter Hill's 1979 cult movie The Warriors. The game takes place in the buzz of new york city, with loads of different gangs and they're all after The Warriors (A street gang wrongly accused of killing a rival gang leader). The Warriors must make their way from one end of New York, to their turf on the other side.
