Summary: Those of you who saw John Carpenter's The Thing, well it didn't end there. The Thing, takes place three months after the end of the movie. A rescue team has come to save MacReady and the other surviving members (Childs). In The Thing, you assume the role of Captain Blake, leader of Bravo Team, as you search Outpost 31 North for survivors. As you search, you find clues left over from the movie ( Blair's UFO, MacReady's Tapes).
Summary: Second review for this item as the first didn't seem to stick but no complaints whatsoever with this excellent product, dispatched very quickly and delivered well before due, for a very reasonable price including shipping to R.O.I
Summary: I have played this game 3 times on Hard over a period of 7 years. It takes me 2 years to recover my nerves each time! Utterly draining and crushingly difficult, you will punch the air if you get to the end! So much better than you expect it to be. Not for the casual gamer, you need extreme commitment!
Summary: This game is great. It picks up right where the movie left off. You come in with your squad to check things out. Things get wierd and people start crackin up. One of the best things of the game is the trust/fear factor. Instead of having die-hard fearless men, you have men who can be afraid or don't trust you, making cooperation difficult. That is unless you stick a gun to there head for a couple seconds.
Summary: Following the events of 'John Carpenters': The Thing', 'The Thing' picks up right where the game left off, with you, (the player), taking the part of Captain Blake, one of the soldiers sent into investigate the destruction of the research base. Soon, you realise that there is more than what meets the eye. Things appear everywhere.....they are infact "Comming out of the Goddamn walls!" First, the graphics and characters are well animated, with good dialogue to boot.
Summary: Not the most original idea, 'hey, lets make a Thing videogame based on the classic movie!' but it really works! 'The Thing' game picks up straight after the final events of the movie, as you and a squad of troops are sent to an Arctic base to find out what has happened to the survey team who have suddenly gone quiet...
