The Sopranos: Road to Respect PS2 Review

Console Obsession
31 May 2010
  • Excerpt: In four hours you can do a lot of things, but to complete a game in this little amount of time is just criminal. There, we’ve done it, and told you right off the bat one of this gaming adaptations biggest downfalls, although even if the length of the game had been considerably stretched, we think there’s much better titles that are more deserving of the warm hospitality found under your consoles lid.

  • Excerpt: On the TV show, "The Sopranos" focuses on Tony Soprano and the way he interacts with his two families, which makes for good television as he has to deal with his Family (mafia) obligations and still maintain peace in his family (the household kind). Often times problems in one will mirror those in another, and finding the medium to which he can deal with them offers up moral questioning and introspective moments.

30 November 2006
  • Summary: Road to Respect shoehorns the Sopranos license into a clumsy, poorly designed action game that isn't the least bit enjoyable to play.
  • Pros: Many familiar characters voiced by the real actors
  • Cons: Boring, repetitive, and poorly designed combat, Ugly graphics, Linear missions that aren't at all interesting to play, Several bugs, collision detection problems, and other technical shortcomings
