Summary: I really like playing Sim games when I have hours to kill and though completing tasks are fun sometimes I just like to focus on taking care of my Sims but lets face it that can get boring. This game allows me a little more of a challenge by allowing me to keep not only people but pets alive. There are some short comings like the fact that you can only go to the town square and your house and the items are pretty limited as to what you can buy for your pet but its okay.
Summary: This is a fun game for ages 8+. Interesting concept and fun to Simulate all sorts of people. I created my whole family!! It gets pretty boring after a while and the fun stops being fun.:( but still fun for a while. BUY IT FOR A MORE REASONABLE PRICE. Like 5$ or 10$. NOW I CANT BELIVE I SPENT MY 20 BUCKS ON THIS WHEN I COULD HAVE GOT IT AT THE STORE FOR 5 BUCKS! SHEEEESH!
Summary: It was super fun at first, but then the dogs started digging holes in my yard. And this stupid stray keeps coming into my house, even after I put the no strays sign up. It was cool, though. Because I created the Jonas Brothers, and made Joe and Kevin get married. I kicked Nick out, though. Because he was ugly. I created all their dogs, and Nick's was the stray. That thing is so annoying. He just keeps passing out, and getting revived.
Summary: The Sims 2 pets is a OK game. It get's old after a while. the music get's on my nerves. The graphics are almost as good as the Sims 2.(Sims 2 has the best graphics out of all the games.) The lasting appeal is not that good. there's not alot of matching furniture, so you kinda have to get creative. The Properties' landscapes all look the same. the town square is "eh" looking. You have to force yourself to get into it.
Summary: As an avid player of the Sims games, I recieved this around Christmas last year. I still continue to play it, but there are some things about me that bother it. First, somebody decided to make it more kid-friendly and decided to put underwear on the characters when they're showering of bathing, but it's still blurred. WHY do that? It was fine before when it was blurred when they weren't wearing anything.
Love The Sims series......but where is the punch line?

Summary: I enjoy all of The Sims games because i love the idea of building homes and purchasing items and completing goals....and i love animals as well so i figured this would be an awesome game. I was very excited at first when i created my pets and was able to have babies....and the things the animals do are so cute, even when they eat the garbage...but i also like the satisfaction of feeling like I am advancing in a game.
Summary: I am mainly comparing the sims 2 pets on ps2 with the Sims 2 on ps2. With the sims 2 there was an actual goal, with the sims 2 pets there isn't a clear goal, and you aimlessly interact with your pets and teach them skills. Maybe I am a bit biased also as I am so used to playing sims 3 which has advanced many of the features from the sims 2.
