Summary: I enjoyed this game. I loved creating a home and talking to sims. But i did not like that thay removed some very inportent feachers from the PC verison. Like you can't have babys or permently die in this verion. It has personality but it gets repeditive. The graphics on the PC and GameCube verison were better than the PS2 port as well. The rabit holes are so supid! But I enjoyed this game. And would steal replay it but the PS2 died. RIP :/ So its fun.
Summary: The game is great and fun but there are a few major flaws. First of all the sound is out of sync with the picture when the sim does something sometimes, second, most of the time in fast forward the sim freezes, causing you to pause and undo the action, third sometimes the sim doesn't respond to certain actions (ex. drinking an espresso) which can be a real hassle, especially if it happens once the carpool arrives, and lastly: story mode!
Summary: You have gotta get this game. It's awesome and It's cheap to get for all the awesomeness in this game.If you like creativity, then you will like this. It's better than the original Sims game because there's littler creativity than Sims 2. Get it for PlayStation 2 if you have it for PlayStation 2. All you need is a little bit of creativity. I know it says its rated T for teen but it should say E10plus.
Summary: This game is quite addictive... I'd probably mostly recommend this to someone NOT going to school or has a hectic job. It's very fun designing your own character at the start and like if you haven't played it before you'll be eager to go to the first location or also if you haven't been to a new unlocked location. There's all these different needs that needs to be maybe 50% filled all the time, for example bladder, shower, hunger, and sleep.
A plumb bob good time much different than the PC version!

Excerpt: "...is a wonderful spin-off of The Sims 2 series for PC. Although I have never played The Sims 2 series for PC, there are many noticeable differences in Create A Sim and Gameplay, not to mention having direct control over your Sim as well! However, the intent of the game stays true: create a family, build and design a home, and live anyway you like! CREATE A SIM - GENETICS AND CLOTHING Unlike the PC, The Sims 2 PS2 offers a variety of customization ...
Pros: Story Mode, Unique CAS & DressUp Features, Food Creation & Sim Interaction, Variety of Objects
Cons: Limited Build Mode, No Children, Adhering to Fire Code, Save Glitches, Building Relationships
Excerpt: "MY THOUGHTS ON THE GAME Do you like strategy games? Do you like the sims? This game is for you. I bought this game last year 2008 from ebay and the minute the game came through the door i put the disc into the player and got going on it. I was then hooked. I did find this game hard to get used to all the different functions but now its so easy to play and do. You can set up to 6 different characters where you can choose whether or not they are male ...
Pros: Full of fun, long gameplay without noticing the time .
Excerpt: "...always been a fan of the sims since it was released on PC, however I don't think any other console lives up the computer version. This sims two on computer has the ability to have kids and watch them grow up, which is one of the main features, however I was disappointed to find that the Playstation version was the same as the original sims but in 3D. The game takes ages to load especially when trying to customize your characters. However on the ...
Excerpt: "The sims 1 and 2 have both been a great investment for me. i find them so addictive. The only thing is you need good bit of hard drive so everything saves on it as the games are extremly big and without the correct software could make your computer slow and sluggish almost acting as though it has a virus. The best way to check this works is by going to product details checking the size of it and then checking how much hard drive space you have then ...
Pros: addictive and great fun
Cons: PC ones needs big hard drive old computers will need an upgrade
