The Simpsons Game is the 22nd video game released and is based from the award winning TV series The Simpsons that was developed by EA. Released in 2007; it features in its cover Homer being attacked by Neverquest Ralph. It is a third-person action game that allows players to play their favorite Simpsons character. Its plot is an original writing from Matt Warburton, Tim Long and Matt Selman.
Features
The game has 16 levels that are also called as episodes that require specified skills to each character in episodes. Each of the family members has their own specific moves like Lisa’s Saxophone spin and Homer’s Power burp. It has the 3D cel-shaded graphics in 2D technology. Players are assured that the characters are the real Simpsons with the real voices. Players can enjoy strolling around the infamous Springfield and also take down annoying villains and fight parodies of famous games.

The Simpsons are a perennial videogame topic. Many of the games created in the franchise are utterly forgettable. (Anyone up for a round of Simpsons Wrestling? Didn't think so...) But there have been a few well-done Simpsons games: Simpsons Hit and Run (a GTA clone) and The Simpsons Road Rage (a Crazy Taxi clone) were both enjoyable. In the end, what you are presented with is a very solid Simpsons title. Its humor, as stated, goes beyond just pleasing regular and hardcore Simpsons fans. The self references mixed with cultural ones are worked out brilliantly, and hopefully it spurs the show’s writers to step up the effort and return it back to its roots.
