Summary: I've played the 1st new Spyro game, and I say that was too short and easy. This game is much more challenging and is longer. The plot seemed a little sluggish, though, because Spyro has to faint in order to meet the Chronicler. It just seemed a little over-done. Anyways, the action is better, and Spyro can do more with the elements. I'm feeling ambivalent to the change in how Spyro attacks with the elements compared with A New Beginning.
Summary: I never played the older Spyro games, & I started with A New Beginning. I beat that game in about 2 days because I loved it so much. I bought this game a few days later & I love it so far! I also bought an older Spyro game, & I thought it was really stupid. I guess the newer ones are different from the older ones, & I prefer the new ones. The graphics are beautiful, & the game itself is very simple to play, with an interesting story.
Summary: Great game, Good story, good gameplay! like everyone said its not the same Spyro as the first three. I've played all Spyro's 100% complete even the nasty (if you can call it a game) 4th one. I am thoroughly enjoying the new Legend series. Again it's not the same Spyro. But why want the same old same old? It's nice to have something new for a change. One of the reasons I enjoy it cause what the first 5 games lacked was the fact of there was no story.
Summary: Don't listen to the other reviews. This game is five stars perfect. I loved it! You get to learn all new elemental attacks and seek out the Chronicler, who tells you what to do. Then you must make your way thru huge levels and fight off new enemies. Defeating Gaul is the best part of the game, much easier then the other older Spyro games, mostly because you are more capable, especially with the new Fury attacks.
Summary: Spyro is a fun little dragon with all the blood and gore of all lot of the other games. This game interest my 14 year old stepson, who is used to playing "T" and "M" rated games at his house. I have a preteen and primary school age child that love to move this dragon around and meet the challenges that this game and complex goals.
Summary: Overall, I thought this game was pretty good. The graphics were AMAZING, and the voicovers were just as good. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that this game was much harder than the other Spyro games. Again, many people say 'Oh, this game is horrible because it's not like the other Spyro games'. This bothers me A LOT! THINGS CHANGE, PEOPLE! GET USED TO IT! And I thought it was a change for the better. All those mini games got a bit annoying after a while.
Summary: Alot of people are saying they don't like this game because it is unlike other Spyro games. I have many older Spyro games and love them all, and I like this one just as much. It is different, as it does have a bit less exploring, but I actually think this is refreshing as I don't have to worry about if I missed somethign or search around for that 1 gem that I just can't seem to find. This game is addictive and it is very fun, its also easy to understand how to use.
