Summary: Lately I've felt Spyro, the series, has received an evil eye when it was moved from the original Playstation to its counterpart, Playstation 2. But now I see it could go either way (most of its fans under the radar). I was excited about this game, but, as I continued to play-an impending trench stopped me in my tracks. I've played both "A Hero's Tail" and now this one. They both share the same fallacy of re-spawning you to a position to where you previously "died".
Summary: This Game was a good game in my opinion not the best but enough to call it good and worth a buy. Also Depends on how much you like Spyro what I considered was a lot of people didn't really favor this game due to it's dramatic change. To sum up a short stand point of this not really a review but just my thoughts this game definitely was good and could of been longer. The game overall felt different which is good and an all star cast which is cool.
Summary: On the day I bought this, I got it for really cheap at the GameStop in my fave mall. I get home, put it in the console, and it was AMAZING!! ^^ I had originally played the GBA version, but seeing it in better graphics just made it even better.
Summary: To be up front this game is nothing like the PS1 games. You don't run around collecting eggs or gems. The game is a rather simplistic beat-em up that also offers some bare basics platforming. This game feels like it has more in common with games like Malice then the older Spyro games.
Summary: I just played this yesterday, and was surprised at how great this game was. I found addictive gameplay, great gameplay, great graphics, great sound, and a superbly deep story...deeper than most I know of.
Summary: I grew up with the original spyro and it was fun but nothing compared to this major overhaul!! I'd highly recommend this game for people who like an easy game to play with their kids or just in general.
Summary: this is the 1st spyro game i played it is awsum the story lines easy 2 fallow and this game is just straight up beast. idk wat it is about people wanting the old spyro back im only 13 so i nvr playd them but spyros is awsome including this spyro games r my favorit since this was my first now im half way through dawn of the dragons so ya how would people say these suck compaired to the old ones these are newer so thers probly beter grafics and i love this game PERFICT 10...
Summary: This game is great its very fun it could have been a little bit harder and longer but over then that excellent game I beat it in 2 days it was worth the 2 days you have 4 powers fire, lightning, ice, and earth im going to pick up a copy of eternal night today im hoping its going to be as good as new beginning.
this game is really good, incredible voice acting!

Summary: I found this game browsing youtube one night, I had seen the commerchials a long time ago for this series, and they looked epic, but I ignored them, and I'm sorry I did, I just got the first two games today, and let me say that I am greatly pleased with this game, I'm not gonna lie, It's been awhile since I picked up my PS2 controller instead of my Xbox 360 controller. is it like the original games? I would say hardly, but that really didn't matter for me.
Summary: It was action packed however if you like the original Spyro, this games nothing like it. Don't expect to collect things. Its mostly just leveling up like Final Fantasy I beat the game in less than two days and I take forever while playing a video game. One MAJOR plus to me is the voice acting however, I liked David Spade as Sparks. Just be aware that in the sequel, Eternal Night, there is a different voice actor (sounds like Fry from Futurama).
