Summary: I remember playing this game on the PC back in the good old days. It was a tough game, graphics are not up to par with many of the other graphics at the time, and it didn't really get to the whole story of The Hobbit. However this is a really fun game overall. When playing this game as a kid, I used to get frustrated easily, that is because the gameplay itself is a little complicated.
Summary: I have this game for the PC and it is amazing. The graphics are great, the storyline is awesome, not to mention you have to fight wolves, steal troll's wallets, and you get to explore a village. You can earn coins, do tasks for other villagers, and much much more. There are cute little minigames where you play hide and seek with some children, get an egg from a chicken coop without the chickens going crazy, knock apples out of a tree, and my favorite, collect berries...
Summary: (Note: This review is for the XBOX version, not sure it makes a diffrence) Have ever seen the trilogy The Lord of the Rings? This is the prelude that was a book like 80 years ago, and there’re making a movie sometime in the next couple of years. But, let’s just focus on the game. The Hobbit stars Bilbo Baggins, an adventure-hating little hobbit who is living comfortably in Hobbinton, until Gandalf the wizard appears and Bilbo must go on an adventure filled journey with...
Summary: This game has been overlooked, or criticized, by a lot of people who (1) expect it to be the same type of game as EA's LOTR games; or (2) expect it to be a faithful "re-enactment" of Tolkien's book. Well, (1) while it is much more "cartoony" and childish than the LOTR games --so is the book much more written for children than the LOTR books were. And (2) would you REALLY want a literal re-playing of the book in a video game? Think about it.
Summary: Although a little childish, a good game. Easy enough that you can always pick it up and advance a little further, and it seems to just go on forever. Each level is dramatically different, and there are plently of puzzles even for the experienced gamer. I would definitely try it out if you are a Tolkien fan. Granted, theres not alot of sword play, but its The Hobbit, what do you expect.
Summary: I have just finished this game recently. I spent 7 hours finising from where I was. I was hooked!!! Any game that makes you want to continue playing until your done is worth the money. I do have one problem though. I'm an adventurer. In other words, I'll investigate every nook and cranny of the game to find all of the jewels, or secrets. Problem was in the level called "Inside Information" I made the mistake of finding a Spear, Ruby, Shield, Necklace.
Summary: This game is good for a couple of reasons. The first and foremost is that it is rated E for the parents like myself that are always trying to find something appropriate, interesting and exciting for our children to play. This definately lives up to that expectation. The second reason is that although the puzzles can be trying, they are surmountable with persistance. As with any puzzles, there is always a pattern if you are patient enough to figure it out.
Summary: The Hobbit, what a great Idea, to make a video game out of the book that stared the whole,Lord of The Rings Hipe. And this game is extremely fun, just 1 thing; c'mon Vivendi, are you telling me these cartoonish graphics are the best thing you could come up with? The game is so fun, in fact it is one of my favorite games, but the "Cartoonish" looke makes it very awkward to play at first.

Summary: The Lord of the Rings trilogy has been getting quite popular in the past few years. It was inevitable that the original story - of Bilbo Baggins finding the ring - would become a new computer game. Bilbo Baggins is enlisted by Gandalf to go along with a group of dwarves to explore and steal back a treasure from the dragon Smaug. As you go you gain skill with your sword and courage for your hobbit brain.
