A really fun game from my point of view!
29 December 2006
Summary: I got this game for Christmas and was really quite impressed. My brother (he's only seven but is surprisingly good at PS2 games) and I got very far in the game in a few days, but we were at some parts for a long time. I thought that the fact that this game is challenging was nice. I like games that are at least a little challenging.
Summary: Great gameplay. Great graphics. But, you need at least 2 or more people to play this game once you reach Narnia. It is impossible to make everyone do what needs to be done all by yourslef and I have no clue as to how you are supposed to collect everything plus defeat all the enemies. I would also suggest a walk through book or webpage otherwise you will get lost. I wouldn't recommend this for children under the age of 13 unlike other users have suggested. Have fun!!!!
Excerpt: "I bought The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe when myself and a friend were looking for PS2 multiplayer games to play after completing Shrek 2. I wasn't really sure about the game itself, as I don't really tend to think that games based on movies are very good, but it was better than I expected (apart from some levels that were just downright annoying). The game is a PG (which I've never seen on a game before) which is pretty ...
Pros: Fun gameplay with puzzles, good to play alone or with friends
Cons: Controls and figuring out puzzles can get annoying
Journey through the Wardrobe to a magical new world!
20 August 2009
Summary: The Chronicles of Narnia the Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe is an action game for the Playstation 2 developed by Travellers Tales. The game follows the storyline of the movie based on C.S Lewis first Narnia novel with the four bored children discovering a magical wardrobe which transports them to the world of Narnia whilst on holiday in the country.
Pros: Good action, multiple characters, gets young minds working!
Cons: Story is better in the book/movie, a little on the easy side
Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (PS2): A Rare Movie Tie In That Is GOOD!!
31 March 2008
Summary: The Chronicles of Narnia have always had a warm place in my heart, being from the books, tv series to the awesome movie. So i was a tad worried when i heard they were going to make a game tie in as they usually suck to be honest. Luckily for this one it didn't, the gaming style is very familiar to the Lord of the Rings return of the king game (also a fan) which was great, as it is very simple to pick up and play and doesn't take ages on tutorials etc The games graphics...
Summary: Bought this for my daughters aged 8 and 5 and some parts of it were a bit much for them so I was often asked to help out in order to complete the level. I would say it's suitable to anyone of about 10 years old and above. Pretty good game though.
Summary: The Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe is a game definitely worth buying. The effects are very good and unlike many Playstation games the makers have combined the levels with clips from the actual film. Many of the levels are challenging and it may take a while to get past a particularly difficult creature but it is definitely worth it.
Summary: There are two main features that set this game apart from most play station fodder: firstly, its relies heavily on inter-character cooperation to enhance individual skills and abilities; secondly, it is a much more thoughtful enterprise than the usual “smash and blast ‘em” - sure, there are fights and excitement aplently but you also have to hide, run and use artefacts or simple brain power to work your way through the various levels.
