  • Excerpt: This winter, C.S. Lewis's beloved The Chronicles of Narnia will hit theaters when The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is released on December 9th. If that wasn't enough, an action/adventure game based on the film has recently been released for the three consoles and the PC.

  • Excerpt: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is the latest literary classic turned movie turned game. While many an English professor is probably shivering at this development, they’ll be happy to know that, like the movie, the game is a faithful representation of C.S.

  • Conclusion: There are also tandem abilities that require two of the children to team up. When you move close to a character you can press a button to initiate a cooperative attack. You can team up with Susan and Lucy to slide Lucy through breakable barriers or to fire a volley of flaming arrows into the air.
  • Pros: 15 varied levels require you to use the unique abilities of each sibling, Tons of footage from the actual movie to set each scene, Lots of abilities to purchase for each of the children, including special tandem abilities.
  • Cons: Fixed camera angle can be annoying, Some of the collection tasks feel completely tacked on, Lame artificial intelligence.

  • Conclusion: What's here is good -- better than you would expect -- and yet it all feels a little to cookie-cutter at times, and the gameplay tends to deteriorate towards the end. It's a solid licensed game, but minus the license, it's just too average.

  • Conclusion: There isn’t really all the much replay factor in Narnia . Sure there are things to unlock but the game is really meant to be played once. The co-op mode does help to lengthen the game but even that only goes so far.

  • Excerpt: When I first booted up the game and saw the Travelers Tales logo, my heart skipped a beat. Travels Tales are the developers of the Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones games that are highly regarded. Therefore, I went into the game with high expectations. Were these expectations met?
