Excerpt: When I first heard of The Bible Game , I wanted to review it because I thought a game whose focus was Bible trivia might be interesting. Also, in times past, developers have released “Christian” games and they normally aren’t very good as far as production quality, etc.
Conclusion: So it's well presented, and contemporary in design, unlike most of the ghastly Christian offerings. But it's still very shallow, and even if you were able to find four people who'd want to play it, there's little chance of their wanting to play it twice.
Conclusion: It's a shame, because obviously a lot of work has gone into this – the game is no looker, but effort has been made with some nice cartoon-like styling, the voice over of the gameshow host, and even some decent music tracks from Christian rock bands are played over the challenges.
Pros: Nice idea, Christian rock soundtrack - Woo
Cons: Hard as nails difficulty level for probable audience, Too simple for a regular gamer
Excerpt: Oh, before we continue… WARNING - The following review contains may comments (and some ribbing and eye poking) concerning the Christian/Catholic religion and The Bible (source of The Bible Game).
