Summary: This has to be the worst game ever released for PS2. The graphics are ok, sometimes the tires sink into the pavement. This game is no fun!!! The cars are crappy, cheap, and slow cars. At least they could have included regular cars, you know, not "Peanut" or "Froggy" as names for cars. And top speed of these are about 45 mph. Honestly, you would have more fun waiting at an intersection of traffic for 30 minutes than playing this game for 30 minutes.
Summary: Okay, I got this game at my local computer store because it looked interesting, seeing the car flying over other cars on the cover. So I decided to get it with a bunch of other loser games. Okay, there is one pro: It is on PS2 and it has good graphics. But whenever you drive around in single player you have to collect a ton of useless coins, then go to a glowing square to end the level.
Summary: My friends and I recently rented this game, thinking it would be kinda fun. But we were definately let down. The silly little British cars were ok at first, but after awhile I was getting annoyed with driving them and looking at them. The graphics were pretty nice, but trying to control the cars was a nightmare! Even the first car, which is slow as hell, was sliding all over the place when I tried to turn corners. Also, the game is pretty pointless.
Summary: I recently purchased this game at Best Buy for ..., and all I can say is this game is terrible. I was so frustated with the game, because all you do is drive around town trying to collect coins. How can you collect coins when you can't even control the damn car? It is impossible to make turns, every time I tried to make a turn I crashed into a wall. I know people might see this game advertised somewhere for a low price, but don't fall for it.
Summary: Do not buy this game! Don't even rent it! I rented it about an hour ago, and i think i'm gonna take it back and say it didn't work. The cover art is very decieving, it makes it look like a fast paced driving game with big jumps and awesome stunts, boy is that wrong! The graphics are ok, i must admit, but not the best. The steering is terrible!
Summary: If I were to have played this game at an arcade, I would have put in my 50 cents, and THAT would have been too much to spend on this horrible game. The car physics are nowhere near realistic, and makes having any fun nearly impossible. This game has taught me that an impulse buy based on cool cover art is something that should NEVER be done.
Summary: I rented this game because they didn't have atv and i wanted a 2 player racing game. The graphics are average but the controls and the objectives are the worst i have ever seen in a video game. I swear the car absolutely will not turn until you're almost at a wall and by then its too late. If you try to brake and turn your car comes to a complete halt. And all you did is drive around and get coins. WHOOOPEEE!!!!!
Summary: This game is visually stunning! The modeling of the cities is no less than outstanding with considerable detail. One has dreams of flying hell-bent through traffic, skidding around corners and wreaking havoc throughout (ala Road Rash). But, alas, all the time and effort assembling this game is wasted with the most incredibly poor, lame and uncontrollable vehicles to ever surface in a modern video game system.
Summary: This game is by far the worst game I have ever played. It was by far the worst game I have ever played. I would go to my storage and dig out my old Atari before I ever consider playing this game again. To repeat what others have said, the driving control is absolutely ridiculous. Racing games, for the most part, tend to exaggerate the physics of driving, but I have never seen a game that made them worse. On top of that, the purpose was altogether non-existent.
