  • Summary: If you haven't read my Terminator 3 movie review go look for my reviews in my profile. Terminator 3 the movie I don't like that much however I do like the game especially going through the 2032 levels there is a small problem the AI is usually pretty easy to take down it does hurt the game a little bit I know every mainstream reviewer gave it's a negative review but you see I'm not a mainstream reviewer I'm the kind of guy who will defend Robocop3 Alien 3 Alien...

Could have been better if...

  • Summary: it was in the "third person" rather than "first". The game is challenging and it helps having a map to know where you are going otherwise you would be stuck wandering directionless like in Blade 2 the game. The story doesn't follow the path of the movie, but to hear Arnold's voice was cool. I did enjoy blowing everything up. Like I said, this game is not in "third person" and that is why I am giving it 3 stars.

  • Summary: This game is fun, with tons of awesome guns, but a total of about 15 hours was all it took me to do the 23 missions in this game, and I am NOT a great video game player. My advice is to play SOCOM II - tons better value for the money! Probably why T3 was $50 before Christmas, and is already down to $20.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines

  • Summary: Let's face it, there wasn't a film franchise better suited to have a video game made for it than Terminator, so in 2003, Atari "pulled out all the stops" to make a simulation of the then recently released Terminator film. Don't get me wrong, i love the films(who doesn't like seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger tearing through a police station mowing through 30 policemen?) And when you find out that you will be playing as Arnie fighting the T-X on top of a crane etc.

T3 - Appealing but not fun.

  • Summary: I recently purchased this game because I had it years ago and wanted to relive some childhood memories and I have to admit the nostalgia is great but apart form the appeal of hearing Arnold's voice and seeing creations of the Terminator franchise there is little to be enjoyed. This game is repetitive, has bad controls and is way too short.

Easy and short doesn't mean rubbish.

  • Summary: After previous Terminator games I was apprehensive about buying this, but after finding it at a bargain price I took the chance. Overall I'm glad I did, the graphics are reasonable, but the gameplay and handling is excellent. The first half sets the scene for the 3rd film, with you T800 fighting through levels to get to the time machine. These levels are great shooting fun, with great weapons and lots of enemies.

MY, Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines, Review !!!

"mcraebuzz", amazon.co.uk
23 February 2004
  • Summary: GOOD SIDES = Not too difficult! Nice bit of movie clips! Some cool present day LA Missions! Good control and view while playing! Reasonably good graphics! Cool selection of weapons both future and present day! BAD SIDES = The Game is too short! Far too many future missions not enough present day missions! Poor battles with the TX robot, you only get to punch and kick her like you are playing Tekken or Street Fighter, you never get to shoot her or anything else !
