Summary: This may be my favorite game out of playstation 2, even on my top 10 overall. I've played a lot of video games but I loved this one the most. It was not only fun and involved a lot of puzzles but it required some patiences and thinking skills. Which I greatly enjoy in games. I liked the signature moves they made (depending on what angle you go at) and the camera controls were actually pretty easy.
Summary: This is a great game. The time that it was released, during the early playstation two era, makes this game even more amazing considering it's quality. The graphics are better than almost any game that was released during the time. The sounds needed a little work, since they were very repetitive. After the 300th time you heard an enemy dieing from your stealth kill, "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" got really annoying.
Summary: As a game, Tenchu WOH is superb. As a sequel to a popular franchise, it is a standard bearer. If you are a fan of the series, this installment doesn't muck up the characters, controls, or other elements that made the originals popular - a common failing amongst sequels. It simply delivers more excellent game play and some small improvements - without trying to reinvent anything. That said, onto the game.
Summary: For all those people out there looking for a good ninja game, look no further than Tenchu Wrath of Heaven. This game really delivers a good ninja feeling when playing. You can stealth kill enemies,or face them head on.As a ninja, always go for the stealth kill, that's the easiest way to do the job. This game gives you different ninja tools which are all useful in their own way.You get from Shuriken, grappling hook, mines, grenades, and many, many other ninja items. The gameplay is...
Summary: This is one of those games that isn't particularly innovative, original, artistic, graphically beautiful, or well-written, but it's just so incredibly fun. Face it, you always wanted to be a ninja, didn't you? The makers of this game understood exactly how the appeal of being a ninja works, and integrated that fun and excitement beautifully. The gameplay builds up tension and suspense very nicely throughout each level.
Summary: Tenchu 2 was once claimed to be the goriest game of all time. In many ways it lived up to the hype with its stealth kills. Tenchu 3 turns up the graphics, gameplay and stealth kills by a factor of 10 and then some more. Hopping across roof tops with your ninja blade looking for the enemy to perform a drop down standing on shoulders head through jaw thrust or a heart pull just makes this game a lot beyond want you have seen on the PS2 before.
Summary: What a fantastic game! As an older gamer, it takes a lot to impress me. Most action-based games involve only action. The lack of thought and strategy it takes to win turns me off and I find myself going back to the computer to play RTS games. This wasn't the case with Tenchu 3, however. I couldn't get away from the intersecting story lines, new weapons, and of course the strategy of stealth. The only items that could be improved are the A.I.
Summary: I have played all three of the Tenchu games, and this by far is the best. I always loved the ninja-type gameplay, but i really thought the graphics sucked. When i got Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven I was amazed at how much better the graphics were. This is number one on my list of favorite ps2 games. EVERYONE SHOULD BUY THIS GAME BECAUSE IT ROCKS!
