  • Summary: I couldn't ask for a better deal. The game was in mint condition, and the price so low! I had been looking for this game for a long time now. It's fun to finally be able to play it once again.

Live By Honour, Kill By Stealth

DBZKing, Ciao

  • Excerpt: This is a review on the third game in the series, a great stealth assassin game, know as Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven. This is a bit like Metal Gear Solid some of you may think, but it is set in feudal times, and you are assassins trying to gain honour / revenge and kill all of your foes.
  • Pros: Stealth  |  Cool Assassins  |  Enviroments  |  Story  |  Versus Mode  |  Co - Op Mode
  • Cons: Graphics could of been better  |  More playable characters

Like Splinter Cell or the Metal Gear series, buy this game

Amazon
1 December 2004
  • Summary: First off, this is a great stealth/action game. The amounts of features seem endless, from the two bonus levels, to the secret character. As with the original two games, getting Grand Master (or Master Assasain when playing as Tesshu) gets you secrets items ranging from Invisibility Spells, to...

It tries to be good but in the end it just can't do it

M. Mcginnis, Amazon

  • Summary: Tenchu 1 and 2 are among my favorite games of all time. The strategy involved in sneaking around is great. I really enjoyed the first two but tenchu 3 just doesn't stand out like the other two did. Now let me be honest, this isn't a bad game. It just didn't do what a sequel should do.

  • Summary: I played a preview demo of the first level in tenchu and the graphics are amazing. It opens up and you are in a lush forest that looks completely realistic. Then you do a head-first dive off a massive waterfall. This unfortunately is were it gets bad.

Amazon

  • Summary: When it comes to gameplay Tenchu 3 is great, no, FANTASTIC! Character animation, background animation and sound effects are all well beyond a high level in action/adventure games and it has a good storyline and plot.

The best game in one of the best series ever

Amazon
1 December 2004
  • Summary: I've long been a fan of the Tenchu series, and still occasionally pop one of the two PSOne games in my console. As good as those games were, though, Tenchu 3 beats them hands down. The graphics are much better, as you would expect.

Why I gave this game 5 stars.

Tony, Amazon
1 December 2004
  • Summary: Imagine yourself living the life of a ninja. The life of a ninja is quite simple. Kill your enemy and not be seen. The perspective on this game is great. It feels as if you are in the game. The graphics and detail are superb too, it only adds to why it feels like you are truly in the game.

A solid stealther

J. FELLA, Amazon
1 December 2004
  • Summary: I am a huge fan of the Tenchu series, and although this first PS2 outing certainly didn't disappoint, I felt it wasn't quite the step up it could have been, considering how good the first two were on the PS1.
