Summary: Its works but does have a nasty habit of freezing at certain parts, because of this I had to rush almost every mission just to avoid it freezing. I'm happy with it, but it could have been better.
Summary: As a big fan of the Tenchu series, I'm very pleased with the game. It's much more difficult than the previous games, which makes it more challenging to some, but might be frustrating to others.
Summary: I've been a fan of the Tenchu franchise ever since that fateful day in 2000 when I randomly picked a game from the local video rental store. That game was Tenchu. Tenchu has been a favorite, because while it is a violent game, it differs from most games in that if you happen to be doing a lot of...
Excerpt: Tenchu fatal shadows was released in 2005 after the reign of tenchu rave of heaven, which was released in the year 2003. Well the game has proven to be very playable and enjoyable with tremendous stealth moves and with some additional features that its predecessors never had.
Excerpt: Tenchu Fatal Shadows is a ninja game based around stealth. You play as two characters, Ayame and Rin, and you alternative between each on every level. Ayame is a ninja, has two knives and isn't to bad at attacking and Rin is an assasin. You really don't want to get in many fights with Rin.
Pros: Different . Planning required . Amazing tension during game .
Summary: Being a fan of the previous Tenchu games, I felt like going for this one as well! The first thing I noticed was that the graphics are MUCH better espeacially on the characters and environments. Unfortunately, the game play has hardly been changed at all.
Summary: I bought this game when it came out and i finished it in the same day. Its still fun to play and has some unlockable stuff but i felt a bit let down by something. The focus was mainly on the new character Rin with hardly any reference to the previous games.
Summary: The Tenchu series has been a real breath of fresh air. Theres not too many games out there where you can sit and wait and wait and wait just that little bit longer until your unsuspecting victim is in just the right place for you to pounce, then BANG thier gone.
Summary: My fave PS1 game is Tenchu- there's nothing like getting tooled up in feaudal Japan and going out there and slicing up some bad guys! Tenchu 2: Birth Of The Stealth Assasins was a let down from the previous, in that it was just really really cra p.
Summary: I realise that this opinion is of the minority, and I see why people dislike this game. The story did not live up to its potential. The characters were great, but sadly there were very little cutscenes to build on them.
