Summary: This arcade stick had the perfect layout for any fighting game. The last six buttons are spaced perfectly. I love it. This particular one came with my favorite 3d fighter Tekken Tag,Tekken 4, and 5 so what more could I ask for. I will probably mod this stick to work on 360,ps3, and ps2 so I can play all my favorite fighters with a really comfortable layout.
Summary: i love the new and more powerful moves. i also like the stories behind each character. however, the only part i dislike is the ending to all the characters. you need to defeat this almost impossible character ( it is possible though! ) with every character- it gets old defeating him every time. but overall i really enjoy playing this game- the tekken games have been one of my favorites for a long time.
Summary: So, a little late writing a review for this game, but I just recently created my Gamepro account, and wanted to contribute to the site as best I could. Tekken.. ahh, the memories. I've been playing since Tekken 2 was released at the arcade. Tekken 5 was great! I'm glad they took out the wall reversal in this game, like they had in T4. I think the only reason I didn't give this game a perfect score is because of the lack of the "tag" mode.
Summary: Ive played Tekken from the first Playstation till Tekken 5. So I am not new to this game, in fact I'm really good at it. I will start with the bad part because its short. The worst part of the game is when the end boss is so hard, that if you take a single hit, you are basically finished, it kinda takes away from the fun factor of the game. If you block, he can stun you. If you attack, he dodges. If you start learning his moves, he changes accordingly.
Summary: I bought this game for my 53 year old husband who is still a kid at heart. He plays this game every night. He likes the action in this game. I think I made a good decision on buying him this game. I do not think this game is suitable for children there is a lot of violence in it but he is an adult & he likes it.
Summary: Tekken 5 is one of those solid fighters that are so much fun, but you just wish there was something else to it. Why not copy Soul Calibur 2 and make a weapon master mode? (Just change the name and kill off the aggrivating dungeon battles) The characters are all really cool and unique and each have tons of moves. The costumization rocks (King has a sombrero on his back and the adorabe Joey Jr. has a camera!!
