Summary: This game has not changed since the first Tekken. The graphics and characters are almost unchanged. I only purchased this crap because my girlfriend would play it with me and she only because it can be played cramming buttons style. You have to be a Tekken fan to love this drivel.
Summary: a low rating, but they changed alot of things i didn't want changed. they added a grapple where you switch sides, they put a walls in the equations of beating people, they changed alot of the old characters classic combos, and if you liked playing with JIN TOO BAD. HE DECIDED TO LEARN KARATE AND FORGET HIS OLD STYLE OF FIGHTING AND NOW ALL OF HIS MOVES ARE LAME... but thats just my opinion...
Conclusion: the controls feel to stiff you don;t feel like you're controlly the person at all,you might as well be watching the damn thing the controls are meant to just flow with dead or alive 3 you almost feel like you are the person you're controlly too stiff..
Gameplay problems outweigh perks (Reviewed by Robert Marney)

Summary: Reviewed By Robert Marney. Yes, the game looks great, in every sense. Yes, it's got "new" features like walls, useful sidesteps, and Just Frame moves (moves that require precise timing instead of complicated commands), but then again, these were all in VF3 more than five years ago. There are new characters, and some completely revamped old ones, which is good to see, and there's the usual plethora of fun extra modes, like Tekken Force.
Excerpt: The King of Iron Fist Tournament has reared its head again in the form of Tekken 4. “Namco” produces the Tekken series of games and they pretty much specialize in beat-them-ups. It is a shame to read that last bit as Tekken 4 is disappointing not only by fighting game standards but by any computer game. Having played all the previous versions – of which Tekken 3 is the best up to this point – I am pained by my ownership of version number 4.
Summary: This is the worst tekken game to date. Yes it looks much better, but they have tinkered with the gameplay to a level where it feels wrong, and off, if you havent played tekken before then this isnt an issue. But who hasnt played tekken. Tekken Tag was better, 4 has a lack of characters, a lack of different extras, and the new characters dont feel good. Jin's changed style completly.
Summary: This game is not a great substitute to TEKKEN 3. I have demos of this and TEKKEN 3. I can do the game but it has terrible gameplay. but nice graphics. Tekken 3's graphics are not that great because it's on PsOne but it has FAR better gameplay. Anyway it is a crapy game and is not worth buying and has only few characters from Tekken 3.
