I wanted this game to be fun...

Dennis Laycock, Amazon
20 September 2004
  • Summary: ...and it was, for a few minutes. It really was satisfying to rack up a 30-hit combo while destroying five or six foot soldiers all at once, just like the old-school TMNT arcade games. And the cel-shaded graphics look awesome.

Fun, but boring and hard.

Amazon
13 June 2004
  • Summary: Well, this game is ok, but Konami really made this game pretty bad. Here are a list of bad things about this game: WAY TOO MUCH VIOLENCE, WAY TOO MUCH TALKING, ("Slice n' dice" x 1000 = annoiance) LEVELS ARE SHORT BUT TAKE 20-50 MINUTES TO COMPLETE, "INVISIBLE WALL" PREVENTS RETREATING, TOO SHORT,...

Could have been much better

D. Frank, Amazon
22 March 2004
  • Summary: Like previous reviews have stated, it seems very much like a remake of the old TMNT games for nes, but with better graphics. The most amusing part of the game was playing it on Christmas and seeing the turtles wear santa hats.

Boring... according to today's standard

  • Summary: This game is basically the 3D version of the old Nintendo Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. What you do in the game is to fight, fight and fight. No mission, no other aims. Graphics are not very special either. I agree with the pervious review that this game is not so good.

Maybe a rent, never a buy!!!!!!!!

Amazon
21 January 2004
  • Summary: What are all the people giving this game good reviews for? This game is incredibly BORING!!!! It gets so old after awhile that i could only play a few levels and i just had to turn it off in disgust. I wasted my money on it, BIG MISTAKE!

TMNT is it really worth $39.99 plus tax?

"eddiebambino", Amazon
3 November 2003
  • Summary: I wasn't really interested in this game at first... but after thinking about how good the one for super nintendo was, I got it for play station 2. The game itself has good graphics and a good story line... it is way too repetitive... and it gets old fast.

Platform Good, Fighting BAD!!

Gary Hilton "ursinebrute", Amazon
3 April 2007
  • Summary: TMNT does only 2 things: platforming & fighting - but if you judge it on its own merits as a platform-hopper with a dash of semi-imaginative combat thrown in, then it's a fine game. Think of this game as Prince of Persia for the kiddie set.
