Summary: Tales of the Abyss is one of the best 6th Gen RPGs I've played and now it's available for 3DS. It's storytelling is great and it has a great love story and it's story in general is very heartfelt and creative and it's battle system is fun and typical of the Tales series and so is it's colorful,charming,anime-inspired visuals and it's music is beautiful and delicate at times and helps add to the heartfelt moments.
Summary: Tales of the Abyss is a RPG by Namco originally released on the PS2, nothing is changed from the original but the smaller screen slightly damages the visuals. the gameplay is the same as most Tales games ,but Abyss was the first one the have the free-run mechanic. the story, even though it isn't as long as most other Tales games still leaves an impact with likeable and relatable characters immersing you in the game's world.
Summary: The Tales series has always been one of my favorite gaming series since Tales of Symphonia for the Gamecube. Tales of the Abyss for the 3DS however does not hold that same charm. Abyss has many flaws that mostly revolve around the story. You play as a red headed teenager named Luke who is quite annoying throughout the entire game. The story also moves very slowly.

Summary: Being as Tales of Symphonia is one of my favorite games of all time, I had high hopes for Tales of the Abyss, and, having never played its original version, I got it for the 3DS, hoping it would be good. I wasn't disappointed. The graphics in Tales of the Abyss are great, especially for a handheld after i was restricted to my standard DS for so long.
Summary: I just enjoyed this game for the first time so my review isn't biased like the gi review seeing how this handheld system only has one jrp and being a fan of the genre it's a must buy, I have to support it. The game introduces too many characters to early into the game, the graphics are good lots of towns and I like the colors. the fights are similar to other entrees in the series.
Summary: I agree with Cat_Cat on this, this is one of the best RPG's I've ever played. I was originally never into the Tales series much, but this one caught my eye and I was curious. And yes the loading time is absolutely terrible, but after a while, you do get used to it. With a fun battle system and loads of sidequests/minigames this is a huge step up from the mediocre Tales of Symphonia. If you import games, this one is definately worth checking out!
Summary: When I first found out that TotA is going to be in 3D and is made by the team that made Symphonia, I was a bit doubtful as to how good this Tales is going to be. However, after getting the game, I did not regret paying the extra money to have this game shipped to me by EMS. This is the best Tales I have ever played. The battle system, which is an upgrade to the one found in ToS, is just perfect.
