Summary: This is one of the most awesome Tales games ever! Many people don't appreciate Legendia, but I feel like if it had better graphics and gameplay that doesn't make me want to DIE, it would be a really loved game. The characters aren't as bad as everyone says they are, and I loved the voice acting! Would have been kind of nice to have voice acting in the second half of the game, though. The entire story with Vaclav didn't go too deep, but I loved the Ferines part.
Summary: I've been playing the Tales games for years and I had high hopes for this one but was left disappointed. This game doesn't follow the traditions set by the other Tales games: There weren't any really big plot twists and the character development wasn't as defined as in previous games.
Excerpt: What makes this 15 chapters game interesting is the way the game is split into two halves: Main Storyline (Chapter 01-07) & Character Quests (Chapters 08-15). The Main Storyline is the first half of the game, about Senel and Shirley on an ancient ship known as Legacy. After beating the main storyline, you'll be playing the second half of the game "Character Quests"; storylines about the other 6 characters in your party.
Summary: Tales of Legendia wasn't as good as the other Tales series, but still, it does keep you entertained. The game had a typically average plot, not very exciting, but it's one of those stories where you need to know what will happen in the end. There were many differences between Legendia and all the other games, for example, the 2D battle system and the fact that you can't even see the character's face except for when your watching skits.
Summary: Fans of other Tales games may be turned off when they hear that a different team was responsible for Legendia, but don't let that stop you from enjoying it. Legendia still has a lot to offer. The visual style has its ups and downs. I like cutesy character designs, but sometimes it felt like they tried to fit too much detail into these smaller proportioned characters. It's still pleasing to look at though.
Summary: This game's great, there're so many things to do that's really difficult for you to get tired.the battle system's great and smooth, and the storyline'll make you spend lots of hours playing it.a masterpiece you can't miss on your RPG games collection!
Summary: The first Tales game I had ever played was Symphonia on the Gamecube and it left me wanting more Tales. And when Tales of Legendia came out I of course made the purchase. The main difference is the combat systems and in Legendia its a 2d plane which is similar to a old school fighting game. Normally I would of been against this move but Namco pulled it off quite nicely and left me with little to complain about.
Summary: Tales of Legendia is one of the most memorable games from the Tales series. Like all Tales games the voice acting in it is questionable, but it makes up for it with one of the best stories that I have ever heard. You really do feel a sense of loss in some scenes. The battle system stays true to prior Tales games.
