Summary: To anyone who doesn't know already about how fun Taiko Drum Master games are (and if you do, skip to the next paragraph), they are phenomenally addictive. At first it seems really simple, because all it is is just hitting the middle or the side, right? Well, as you might expect, it can get extremely complicated when they throw tons and tons of notes at you on harder difficulties.
Summary: I bought this to use with the PC game "osu!" and boy does it work super well, I have also used it in a PS2 emulator playing the included game and that was super fun too, as you could tell I bought this mostly for the drum, as it was being sold new(ten years AFTER the original release :0) and works super well, if you plan to buy it for the same purpose as me you will need a PS2 to USB adapter with it, they go pretty cheap, and you will need a application to map the keys(I...
Summary: when I first got it the left side of the drum wasn't working, so I have to send it back to amazon. Amazon take really serious about this and send a new one to me so fast. This game is fun but it will be way better if it has more Japanese songs.
Summary: This game can get addictive fast. It has a very interesting variety of songs on its set list which includes everything from pop to classical. It is hard not to start feeling happy when playing this game. The characters are extremely cheerful, and there is something wonderful about banging one's cares away to music and colorful little cartoon taikos.
Summary: Game worked flawlessly on my Slim PS2, the TaTaCon works without issue. You may have to practice to see exactly how hard you'll need to be hitting it though to register hits (I'm used to barely having to tap on my Rock Band drumset), but not a big deal. Also note this is for NTSC consoles only, and is in English. The PAL/Japanese version of this game is Taiko no Tatsujin (and there are multiple releases of this game, I think it goes up to 11).
Game is really fun! i just wish it came with a drumcon like they have it advetised.

Summary: I bought this a while back and it is in fact a fun game. it's just that sellers on amazon don't realize there's a separate listing for the game without a drum and list it here at a low price. if the price is lower than 10 bucks don't buy it. cuz chances are it doesn't have the drumcon. I fell victim to that. and the drum is unreasonably expensive. ANYWAY The game itself is a very family friendly and fun game to play.
Summary: I had this one on my wish list. It arrived in a standard DVD sized case with a sticker that says "WITH DRUM CONTROLLER"... but there was no actual drum controller shipped. Seems like it'll be entertaining when I get the drum controller though.
Summary: Got this as a present for a friend. While he loved the game I did notice that the drum control is a bit awkward and if you hit the center it doesn't read (there seems to be a divider going down the middle on the inside of the drum). You also have to be careful with edge strikes. Control is a bit rough but definitely playable and fun and can be used to distract children.
