Awesome PS2 Game
That's Me, Amazon
11 November 2011
Summary: Here's the deal - I have hundreds of games on tons of systems (Dreamcast, PS2, PS3, PSP, Xbox, Atari 2600, Nintendo NES, SNES) and this ranks as one of my favorite PS2 games as well as games across all platforms. I got this game in mid-2004 and got frustrated with it and completed few levels in par time. Recently, I used videos on YouTube to help me attain par on every offline mission.
Summary: well, I am not going to say that this is the best game of all time, but I do think that it is great, I haven't played any of the other SF games, but I do get how they work. this is a title that deserves the greatest hits label it has anyway here's my opinion THE GOOD: the character customization is awesome, I can actually play as myself.
Summary: This game has below-standard graphics for a PS2 engine. However, its not complete junk. The game forces you to play online, which is not a good thing since not everyone has internet or an internet adaptor for the PS2 (unlesss you have the slim model). The controls are adaptable, but for the casual gamer, this title will prove troublesome time and time again... However its an excellent online experience, not like SOCOM but very cool nonetheless..
Summary: Syphon Filter was a great PS1 game. I think there was 3 of them. I was real excited to hear they made one for PS2. My friend had this game a couple years ago and he was addicted to it for a while. I got to play it and ever since it was a game I planned to get and just never picked up. I was looking on amazon for a new game to pass the time (and also on the cheap side) and I saw this game for around $9. Pick up this game!
Summary: SYPHON FILTER: THE OMEGA STRAIN Unlike its predecessors, which appeared solely on PS1, Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain allows you to create a new character from scratch. After some arms and control training, you're turned loose on your first covert mission. Unfortunately, I upset the big cheese back at base by inadvertently blasting a few friendlies, who came back at me with everything they had. But what's a guy to do, I ask you?
Based on, and improving on SOCOM, Kill Switch, and MOH 1

Summary: Syphon Filter is an extremley hard game, but if you enjoyed the game kill.switch you will enjoy this game. I found that the same tactics apply, because you have to get a feel for the levels before completing the mision, but the weapon selection feature has emproved quite well, the advancement of your armory is fair and allows you to advance in conjunction with your needs, the unconventional controls took some getting used to but are very nice once you are acclimated.
Summary: U don't get to be gabe at the begining of this game u r just some guy/girl u create. unlike sf 1,2 and 3 where u r gabe logan ( the main character in sf). u have to get far into the game to be gabe and gabe is the only reason i play sf because he is tyte and this game u r not gabe ( which realy suks )
Summary: This is a co-op game, where you play 4 people against the computer. THERE ISN'T ANY DEATHMATCHMODES ! I find these kind of games quite entertaining. It's like playing Conflict Desert Storm with a friend, but this is full screen with 3 other teammates! This game is certainly online-oriented, but is that bad??? I really like when the teamwork with your 3 co-players just runs smoothly and you complete a mission under the "par time".
Summary: I AM TIRED OF ALL THE STUPID PEOPLE THAT COMPARE IT TO SOCOM. IT IS NOT THE SAME KIND OF GAME. THE ONLINE DOES NOT SUCK. IF YOU WANT A DEATHMATCH GAME THEN GET SOCOM. THE ONLY SIMULARITY IS THE 3RD PERSON VIEW. AT LEAST THEY ARE RELEASING A GAME THAT'S NOT JUST ANOTHER BORING DEATHMATCH GAME. I LIKE STORY GAMES AND IT MAKES IT EVEN COOLER YOU CAN GO THROUGH IT WITH YOUR FRIENDS. SO SHUT UP YOU MORONS THAT DON'T LIKE TO HAVE ANY VARIETY TO YOUR GAMES!
Summary: If you were a huge fan of the other games in the Syphon Filter series, you might just go out and instantly buy this game, expecting it to be exactly like the rest.. this is what I did, and I was horribly disappointed. Unlike the other games in the series, this one is designed ALMOST ENTIRELY around *online play*. If you don't plan on playing this game online, you're probably better off not buying it at all.
