Summary: This is one of my favorite games for the Playstation 2. I was feeling nostalgic after giving it to a friend a few years ago, so I ordered it again. Showed up fast, and it's just as great as ever.
Summary: Here's the deal - I have hundreds of games on tons of systems (Dreamcast, PS2, PS3, PSP, Xbox, Atari 2600, Nintendo NES, SNES) and this ranks as one of my favorite PS2 games as well as games across all platforms. I got this game in mid-2004 and got frustrated with it and completed few levels in par time. Recently, I used videos on YouTube to help me attain par on every offline mission.
Summary: Of all the Syphon Filter games I've played (the first 4), this is absolutely the worst. Everything that made the first 3 games great has been changed. You no longer can take your time and sneak up on enemies. You are forced to rush with arbitrary time limits. Now, true, there were time limits in some of the levels of the previous 3, but, in this game, EVERY level must be beaten at a certain time to complete all objectives.
Summary: I bought this game because I fell in love with the previous 3 Syphon Filter games on the PSOne -- wonderful things were anticipated as the series moved on to the more powerful PS2 console. Despite all the attention to detail and effort that went into making this game fun, it just does not all come together as intended. The graphics and audio are very well done but unfortunately the control and gameplay are a little disappointing.
Summary: well, I am not going to say that this is the best game of all time, but I do think that it is great, I haven't played any of the other SF games, but I do get how they work. this is a title that deserves the greatest hits label it has anyway here's my opinion THE GOOD: the character customization is awesome, I can actually play as myself.
Summary: The fourth game of Syphon Filter franchise have only a one defect: you don't play as Gabe Logan, the main character of previous games. About the package what I have purchased in Play-Asia, it is a excellent one for collectors.
Summary: This game has below-standard graphics for a PS2 engine. However, its not complete junk. The game forces you to play online, which is not a good thing since not everyone has internet or an internet adaptor for the PS2 (unlesss you have the slim model). The controls are adaptable, but for the casual gamer, this title will prove troublesome time and time again... However its an excellent online experience, not like SOCOM but very cool nonetheless..
