Summary: This is a highly addictive game. I've never been much of a golf fan but was after getting this game, I was hooked. The graphics are great, everything is in 3D including the trees (which all sway realistically in the breeze) to the spectators who actually move while you are playing..
Summary: I have enjoyed this game. I received it as a gift and have been playing it ever since. I usually get bored with these golf games, but the characters and caddies make this more interesting to play.
Summary: swing away golf is a very well constructed game. However, there are some set backs for one when you play a story mode you often have to play with a computer player, which makes the round drag on and on and the second is the annoying caddies they dont shut up and they think they no everything.
Summary: If you enjoyed Hotshots golf on the psx then you should enjoy Swing away golf. They are very similar in style and gameplay. The game is VERY easy to learn, certainly no harder than Hotshots was. The load times are not excessive, but they are there and that is a little disappointing.

Summary: All in all, not a bad game. It's a bit frustrating at first due to the fact that your irons do not hit as far as advertised. Your caddie and opponents comments get a bit tired due to the lack of variety, but this can be remedied by listening to the stereo while playing. ....
Summary: My girlfriend loves it. It's probably what keeps her from leaving me because I'm stuck to my PS2 during "QT" moments. Guys, get this game and sit the little lady down and she won't hate that little box under the TV so much anymore.
Summary: I've never liked golf- I hate playing it, I hate watching it on tv, but I LOVE this game! It's addictive to watch your career skyrocket in the Story Mode, going from amateur to full-on professional within months as you compete in different tournaments.
Summary: Enough already! Yes, the caddies are annoying, but only if you ...! Seriously, there's an awful lot of chatter and the load times (especially when generating a course) seem slow for all of the vaunted speed of the PS2.
Summary: I really like this game. It has its quirks, but overall, its a very fun game to play. I love the graphics. The comments are a little hard to bear all the time with the caddie and all, but thats not too bad.
