Summer Heat Beach Volleyball
The Gamers Temple
3 June 2005
Excerpt: Poor PS2 owners. They have the largest library of games of any of the big three systems, but have been missing something that Xbox and GameCube gamers have been able to enjoy for some time now. Some would say that this is more of a tragedy than an oversight since we're talking about beautiful women in bikinis jumping and diving on the sand during hard-fought games of beach volleyball.
Conclusion: THE VERDICT: A fun multiplayer game that unfortunately falls short of being in the same class as its peers. Regardless, the PS2's only current volleyball game manages to appeal with a vibrant palette and an admirable multiplayer lark. With no clear rival to DOAX on the PS2, Summer Heat will do a fine job for the time being.
Conclusion: All in all, an excellent fun beach game that'll hopefully remind us of the summer just gone. And most importantly for this genre, it has plenty of bikini and swimsuit-clad boobs and a zoomable slo-mo replay mode too.
Pros: A surprisingly skilful and addictive game awaits., And despite the game's rules, there's LOTS of bouncing.
Cons: None really., Some player stat improvement (other than new sunglasses or a new bikini) would have been cool, but it's just a beach volleyball game.
Conclusion: Mit Summer Heat Beach Volleyball wird jeder viel Spaß bekommen.
