Summary: Now, I like to conciser myself to be one of the biggest Suikoden Fan around and I have to say that I wasn't completely disappointed in Suikoden Tactics. While lacking the Epicness of I, II, III and V, it is, by far, greater than IV and Tierkress. After what was, in my opinion, the lamest attempt to a Suikoden, Tactic brings a nice change of Pace after IV.
Summary: my brother won this game from a tournament, so i played it, it was all very good if you like to move in squares and stuff, there's a lot of characters to play if you can find them, and last i recall these characters really die for good if they die in combat. the ending was very very very disappointing cause i trained for it for a while. the overall game play was good though. the storyline line is good.
Summary: Suikoden Tactics completely outdoes IV. The style and character play is alot more entertaining. Not to mention the storylines and quests you are able to complete. I enjoyed the battles in this format much better than that in IV. They should stick to this style.
Summary: I made it almost all the way through this game, and then just stopped playing it. The story started to get stale, and you had to spend way too much time just running errands in order to get money, items, and new heroes. The formations and fighting were good, but at times it seemed like there were areas that should not be accessible for the level you are at, because the monsters are way more powerful than you.
