Excerpt: Stuntman is a unique driving game for the Playstation 2 developed by Atari. Stuntman puts you in the shoes of a movie stunt driver and over your career you will have to perform stunts for a few different films while trying not to get yourself killed! There isn't any real story to the game but that doesn't hurt Stuntman in any way as this game is all about the stunts and performing them well.

Pros: Excellent physics engine; unqiue gameplay is challenging, though rewarding; good graphics with pretty looking CG cutscenes; great music and effects; excellent car handling .
Cons: Very, very steep learning curve; some graphical blemishies; the director can get annoying; long, long load time; no online or split - screen multiplayer .
Excerpt: "...side of the game of Stuntman before moving onto the extras. The first thing you notice about this game is the graphics are impressive. Although they are not as fluid as current PS2 game graphics, this game nearly 3 years old, has aged incredibly well with the graphics still looking very good. The scenery around you whilst driving is very impressive, although the water in the ponds and rivers etc does look a bit square when you get up close, and ...
Pros: Fresh and original ideas, longevitiy is good
Cons: gameplay and car handling is poor, loading screens ! ! !

Summary: I was one of the lucky few... ok a bunch of people who "pre-ordered" this from best buy, I got the shirt. I got it, and read reviews about it, and the reviews were mixed; but since i loved the driver series, except for its insane difficulty. I wanted to give this game a go, at first i liked it.... this is how the game basically went for me I would play and be like this is sweet, coolness replays make me laugh when i screwed up, i replayed and replayed.
Summary: I bought stuntman about a week after its release. I started it up and was immeadiately hooked on the adrenaline pumping scenes. With that said, this game is HARD! I've had it since the release and i am still two levels from completing it because i get so mad at it i can't play it for a month or so! The idea of the game is great, your a hollywood stunt driver, and you work on several fictious films.
Summary: At first, I really liked playing this game and I was not too concerned about the reviews saying it was too hard. You may recognize that the stunts in the game were based on real movie stunts like in Hooper, Dukes of Hazzard, Indiana Jones, and James Bond. Unfortunately, the game is ridiculously hard and unforgiving, killing most of the fun of playing it.
Excerpt: "I know it's called Stuntman, but really it should say "Car Stuntman", as you don't do any other kind of stunt, but never mind! This game is made by the creators of Driver, so straight away you can be sure of the same - if not better gameplay, and let's face it, Driver was a goood game! But I'm not here to talk about Driver, I'm here to tell you about Stuntman, so let's get started. You start the game in an old, pretty beat-up car, driving around ...

Summary: This is great because all the different vehicles handle differently such as tank, sports cars and snow mobiels and so on. The vehicles take 10 mins to get the hang of and the car handling is close to perfection. The missions are innovative by having to go up ramps to land on to a moving boat and jumping through moving trains and alot more. Most of the missions are impossible to do on your first go.
One of the best games for originality and challenge

Summary: For a taste of what a Hollywood stuntman/person goes through, there is no comparison to "Stuntman" by Atari. The premise is simple enough. You start out as a rookie stuntman. Your goal is to complete a series of stunts within a certain period of time and to complete the entire scene as cleanly as possible. As you progress in the game, you are promoted with more pay and higher status. The game has three to four scenes per "movie".
