Summary: This was one of the very first PS2 games I ever owned, as well as one of the first ever released. There are a lot of really cool things about it. You can't play one-on-one games, like the ones you play on earlier SF games (why wasn't there an option for that? Beats me), but the match types that are featured are neat. The practice mode (or whatever it's called) is a nice feature.
Summary: street fighter ex3 has the best graphics of any Street Fighter (SF) game ever produced. The characters are huge (compared to previous SF games). The animations are very fluid and very realistic. Kicks really look like kicks, and punches accurately reflect true martial arts styles. Special moves look beautiful and amazing. The background and camera angles actually change when special moves are executed.
Summary: Street Fighter EX3 is probably one of the best fighting games, but why 16 megabites? that's like, almost the whole frickin' memory card!! (I Think?) Anyway back to the GOOD parts,S.F.EX3 has really good graphics and good controls, not to mention very good music. My favorite is Ken's. The game does not really have a story but who cares,It's still REALLY fun to fight all those losers at the end!(hahahaha!) The thing is,I was exspecting more of a challenge.
Summary: Basicaly, Capcom offers games that are a lot better than this. Try Marvel Vs Capcom, or Capcom Vs SNK 2 and avoid this one. While it is fun and original, it will become boring fast. Mark my words.
Summary: Alright, this game at first this game is stinks. But later once u get new charicters and master the combos its alot more fun. Some of the charicters are pretty dumb but u get much better ones. it is worth its price.
Summary: Street Fighter EX3 is definitely the best street game that I have ever played in my life. As far as graphics is concerned, no other street figher comes close to it. Some things that I miss are the old characters such as Cammy. Some things that are quite new...new characters that appeared out of nowhere. It seems that the partnership of Capcom and Akira brought the introduction of never seen before characters such as Kairi or Garuda.
Summary: I find it funny that all the people who gave this game a bad review and only 1-2 stars, are comparing it to SF 2 from the SNES... They say "I remember when I played SF II on the SNES, Street Fighter was nothing like this" It's as if these people only played SF 2 on SNES and 10 years later they play another version which is actually quite good. Of the EX series this is the best. You have rather good graphics, decent control, and many characters to choose from.
Summary: I will start by saying this, Street fighter EX3 isn't bad at all. I happen to like it because it has lots of the original people from many other Street Fighter prequals. . . I think some of the other reviews are too had on the game, especially the one that stated a 6 year old almost beat him. I think that person just can't play fighting games well! When you think about it, maybe they need to stick to the previous Street Fighters, or take lesons from the 6 year old...
Excerpt: Show me a gamer who hasn't spent ample amount of time with any Street Fighter game, and I'll show you a weak, spineless excuse of a gamer. Sure there are more SF games than there are Ralph Nader supporters, but some of those games were excellent. SFEX3 is another 3D outing for Ken and Ryu and the gang, and while the graphics aren't quite as defined or polished as the aforementioned TTT or DOA2, you still won't have any problem figuring out who Blanka or Vega is.
Excerpt: "...PS2's original Japanese launch titles, Street Fighter EX3 was one of the least impressive. Whereas Tekken Tag Tournament broached new ground and took the fighting genre to pastures new and sophisticated, Street Fighter has been happy to stand still. Seemingly content to watch technology evolve and mustate around it, the series can hide behind its cult retro stylings no longer. It's time for Street Fighter to grow up. Lining up alongside TTT ...
Pros: Lots of modes, graphics not too bad, nice gameplay .
Cons: Nothing special, not as good as Tekken Tag Tournament .
