Summary: There are only three faults i see in this game:Terrible voice acting, storyline starts off a bit lame, and the lag/loading time. But everything else is...light-hearted fun.Don't let the controls scare you-when you get the hang of it,does the game get FUN.And even when you get the hang of it,the game has a perfect amount of difficulty. Characters develope very well, you do have a choice in what to say that really does effect the storyline, and the music is incredible.
Summary: The Game: Graphics- First thing you notice about this game is that they look nothing like the box art at all. Meaning that it's 2009 and back in the 80's yeah Okay of course the box art never equaled the game art. However, today it's pretty much 50/50. The characters on the box look like the ones in the game. When I loaded up Steam bot Chronicles I was dissapointed as the characters look really akward, and aren't in the Anime style they are shown in.
Summary: It's fair to say that Steambot Chronicles is unlike any other game you'll have played, and it's probably best suited to fans of eclectic games. It is a fusion of game styles using elements of a sim-type game, a few economic principles, vehicle combat, roleplaying story, with some emphasis on musical performances. In other words, it's hard to define by normal game labels. The game is not a big-budget production, and I would not want to pay full price for it.
Summary: We've all seen and played the games that are said to be a "vast non-linear adventure" and things of the sort. Many times this isn't quite the case. Luckily with Steambot Chronicles this is the main calling point of the game. Steambot Chronicles was just localized from Japan (where its original title was Bumpy Trot) due to enormous support from fans shown to Atlus Publishing.
A pretty good non-linear RPG that features 4 different endings

Summary: Not only do your decisions give you a title that befits how you act: i.e. snobby...even wearing the clothes with those in can change your name... And then there is the possibility of being a bad guy...man this is a fun rpg. I have not played one like this since chrono trigger. For a none cookie cutter RPG, try this one out. You will be suprised as each time you play it, you can change the storyline..
Excerpt: Steambot Chronicles is developed by Irem, and published by Atlus on US. This game is like the Armored Core Series but a slighly different and a little mix with The Sims Series. You'll be playing a boy named Vanilla. There are many mini games here and sidequests to make you busy playing this game, like pool, you can also design your house and many more!
Pros: Good game , great graphics and the songs were very nice !
Cons: Short playing hours, if you always continue the story
Summary: Personally i find this game quite fun. The mecha combat is quite difficult to begin with but you get the hang of it eventually. there is a lot of free roaming which is also quite good. The graphics arnt amazing but they are ok and the anime styling is down to personal taste...personally i like it but some dont.
