Summary: Star Trek: Shattered Universe is a budget title and that explain a lot of the bad things in this game, a low budget title has short development times and has less money to spend in developing it - one of the key reasons to the lower than sufficient graphics, audio and gameplay. Excerpt: First, so that I don’t offend anyone, I am not a Star Trek fan. This is the main reason why Shattered Universe really wasn’t all that interesting for me from the beginning. Put my partisanship aside and we can be in agreement; this game’s graphics, controls, and missions are all horrible. Shattered Universe takes place in a “Mirror Universe, in which things that are good are bad.
Excerpt: Star Trek : The Movies Let's face it. The movie franchise just hasn't been good since Star Trek : First Contact (which seems to be the only Next Generation movie that people liked). Not many people liked Generations, Insurrection was instantly forgettable (since the enemies of the movie was a race of plastic surgery obsessed aliens), and Nemesis was a poor excuse for a "finale" to the floundering Next Generation movie franchise.
