  • Excerpt: First, so that I don’t offend anyone, I am not a Star Trek fan. This is the main reason why Shattered Universe really wasn’t all that interesting for me from the beginning. • Excerpt: Star Trek : The Movies Let's face it. The movie franchise just hasn't been good since Star Trek : First Contact (which seems to be the only Next Generation movie that people liked). Not many people liked Generations, Insurrection was instantly forgettable (since the enemies of the movie was a race of plastic surgery obsessed aliens), and Nemesis was a poor excuse for a "finale" to the floundering Next Generation movie franchise.
