Summary: Star Trek conquest is a game i will defenetly remember. This game has low numbers on almost everything yet i still like this game. This game is a strategy game (animated board game almost) so if you dont like strategy games then you should not even think about getting this game. It is basicly you just pick a certain race, each having a certain speciality and move in a board game like way.
Summary: I was pleasantly surprised by this game. For 13 bucks that I paid, I believe that it would be worthwhile for any Star Trek fan wanting some simple gaming fun. Given the many sorry excuses for video games that have plagued the Star Trek license in the past, ST: Conquest is a breath of fresh air. Gameplay: Pretty straightforward. Six races are at war trying to conquer the galaxy. There is no diplomacy, trade, or truces--kill everything on the map to win.
Summary: I was going to give this three stars but then I reconsidered based solely on the fact that it is fun enough to play. It isn't that dynamic or cutting-edge but its relatively easy to pick up and play. The game manual is a bit vague (more so then usual for a turn-based game) so its not immediately clear what the special weapons do. If I had to do it again, I would buy it, but I would probably try to find a cheaper copy.
Summary: Star Trek Conquest is what many board game players would call a beer and pretzel game. Like RISK or Axis & Allies the game has been streamlined and made easy to play. Things move swiftly and sometimes you find yourself ending your turn without doing a thing. I played one campaign as the Klingon Empire and really enjoyed it. The game is simple.
Summary: This is an enjoyable game once you get the hang of it. At first I thought it was boring, then the more I played it, the better it became. There are a few things that I feel they could have done to improve the game. The first thing the developers could have done to improve the game would be to include more races to play as in the "Campaign" section of the game, i.e. the Borg, the Xindi, etc.
Summary: This game is based in the next generation era of the series but after an economic collapse of some sort that now has the cardassians, Federation, Klingons, Romulans, Breen, and dominion. While playing some of these races might sound very appealing you had better read more about this because this game is a Turn Based Strategy Light. good for beginners but some vets of TBS games might be put off by this.
Summary: This game is fun. I have fun paying this game. The graphics are cool. I love being able to be different races, with different abilities. 100% better game than Star Trek Federation, which had a similar concept but not the depth or graphics. My only wish is that in addition to PS2, they made in for the PC which could have even more depth. I am very happy the added the Dominion and Cardassians in the game.
Star Trek: Conquest (PS2): A great game for a budget price!

Summary: A fun strategy game that will keep you entertained for a few hours. In this game you play as one of 6 races in the star trek universe. The federation, klingon, romulan, cardassian, breen or dominion. The games campaign mode has no story and there is just one map so it is more of an instant action game . You start with one home system depending on your race. The system has an advanced starbase and a mining or research facility also depending on your race.
Pros: lost of technologies, 6 races, 32 systems, special stations
Cons: only 3 ships per race, one campaign map, only 2 modes, no multiplayer
