Summary: Sometimes I just have to wonder what the heck developers were thinking when releasing some of their games, especially sequals. Nothing is more dissapointing than see a potentially great sequal botched because of poor game design and over looked annoyances. Let's get started. The fighting is fun utill you find out that every advantage was given to the computer.
Summary: I wait a long time for this game, but is not what I expected. The storyline is not the great thing compare to Star Ocean 2, but the grafics are great. The hours of playing are fine. The game is cool except some elements of the battle system. The leveling up are not a big deal, but at least it is fast with bonuses , and the dugeons are not a thing of the other world. The biggest problem is the CPU in the battle.
Summary: this game is slow in the begining but then it gets a lot faster after the second place you have to go to. the voice system was realy off but it was ok. it did efect the sort little movie parts but it was ok over all.the battle system was realy good it was way better then final fantasys battle system you have more fredom in this game than you do in final fantasy. but over all this game is one of the best i have every played.
Summary: Star Ocean Till The End Of Time is the black sheep of the Star Ocean series, does this make it a bad game? Not necessarily. The storyline is like a roller coaster, sometimes you're enjoying it, other times it gets really boring. I enjoyed the first part of the game, then it got quite boring but then it started to get quite interesting.
Summary: I love RPG games and I have played all major titles for PSone and PS2. This game really drew my attention because of the Enix exclusive game it had always been, and I said to myself: maybe it will be a good change from the Final Fantasy series. In the beginning, it was kinda confusing, but later on the game play, plot etc were smooth.
Summary: I came across this game in a second hand cheap bucket a year or so ago, and my first impressions were very good. From a miss-match of probably over 50 RPGs across numerous consoles, I'm used to slow starts and less-than-amazing graphics, but I find that sticking with these sorts of games can lead you to some real gems. Sadly, I don't think Star Ocean is one of them. It's not bad, but not all that good either.
Summary: Ok first of all I'd like to say I love this game. It's a great purchase and I really enjoyed playing it. Yet it has its own little problems, the starting 10 hours as stated by other gamers are such a bore and the Sci-Fi element was hard to settle into at first. Ok, you say? That's fine, i can deal. However! This is a big but, every time I get involved in the plot I get stuck. Some of the puzzles are extremely easy others are completely stupid.
Summary: my only two disapointments with this game is that there are irritatingly few planets, for most of the time you're stuck on elicor II, and secondly there is alot you can't do until you complete the game such as the inventor issac, you need the ai programme that you get form sphere and that's towards the end of the game, now i've got through the negative points, i can say why the game makes up for the disapointments by having a cracking storyline, and a briliant battle...
Summary: Now I know from the title of my review I will already have many fans of this game wanting me dead, but it is just my personal opinion. Out of all the reviews full of praise here I chose to give a balanced one to offer a counterpoint. Star Ocean: Til the End of Time is by no means a bad game, at many points I was really enjoying it, but it has a multitude of faults that I believe reduce it to an average score.
