Summary: I never was into video games until SSX tricky. This game is a game anyone can play and eventually master. I love having the rivalries because it makes the game more interesting. I didn't play the original, but i still think this game rocks. I enjoy being able to land tricks and the graphics are awesome.
Summary: I never owned the orginal SSX because I didn't buy my PS2 right away. When SSX Tricky came out I thought I'd give it a shot even if sports games weren't my thing. My wife thought I had wasted out money but it was a blast for months. I played non-stop for weeks and I still pick it up now and then since I've already unlocked everything. The tracks are big and so are the tricks you pull off.
Everything is top-notch, especially the frustration factor.

Summary: Playing SSX Tricky is a love-hate relationship... At least, for me. I absolutely love so much of this game, it's so incredibly fun to play, so unique, so energetic... It's just a blast! But along with that joy comes a whole bucketload of frustration... Particularly in the later levels. Imagine, if you can, playing SSX Tricky. You're riding down the mountain with trees and other obstacles whizzing past you...
Summary: SSX TRICKY is one of the best games i have ever played. the worlds are huge and graphicaly brilliant and the controls will suit all types of gamer. two player mode is fantastic becauuse you knock your buddies off the side of the mountain with KNOCKDOWN and competition is feirce. the one thing that let the game down for me was the difficulty. it was really easy to complete in single player mode and a compotent gamer would be through with it very quickly.
Summary: SSX Tricky is an awesome game. It's thrilling and challenging but easy enough so that children and adults alike can play. It's much better than ssx, and you can easily rack up points to score a top spot on the high score list. if you are not sure weather to purchase or not, i reccomend that you high-tail it on over to your nearest blockbuster or hollywood video and rent it. don't have a playstation? blockbuster allows you to rent the console as well.
Summary: This is a great game, it is easy to pick up and play but hard to master. It also lasts a long time with so many combinations of modes, characters and courses, it will take you months to complete. This is a fairly good improvement over the original SSx game,it seems a lot more light hearted and exciting.
Summary: This game is a huge advance on the first ssx. The courses are originaland have almost perfect graphics. If you've been snowboarding then you'll know that this is nothing like the real thing, but the few parts which are unrealistic just add to the thrill of playing. There is huge variation in courses, and each one features a range of short-cuts and alternate routes. The characters are extremely well simulated and have realistic voices and personalities.
Summary: I would have given this game 5 stars but for the ocassional dodgy screen updating and the inflexibility to customise your controller. The game itself is superb - courses, game modes (2-player and tutorials are always a sign of good games), characters and of course the amazing range of tricks. I am going to buy this game, having just rented it for a few days to try it out - wasn't sure if it appealed to someone like me who cant snowboard or even skateboard, but it does!!
